Joan's Gardens Tag and Card Challenges

Hello!  This is my second post today.  I am back to share the projects I created for this week's Tag and Card Challenges on Joan's Gardens blog.  It's the last week of challenges before Joan and Selma break for the summer, so this week, they combined the tag and card challenges and we had to make both.  We had could choose our own theme this time - no restictions.  I rarely make tags so this was a bit of a stretch for me, but fun nevertheless!

For both, I started with a base of GKD Green Apple CS and layerd with patterned paper from the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden 12x12 collection.  The tag is 3 1/8"x6 1/4".  The card is a 5 1/2" square.  For the tag, I stamped the leafy branch from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3390 Bella Rose Leaves with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Cryogen White Iridescent and colored it with Copic markers.  I cut it out with Heartfelt Creations HCD712 Bella Rose Die and trimmed it with scissors.  I also stamped several medium roses and rosebuds from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3394 Classic Bella Rose, colored them with Copics and cut them out with the same die set.  I added a Recollections Champagne Pearl Flourish, some Webster's Pages Ladies & Gents trim and some dyed seam binding to finish my tag.

For the card. I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3309 Faith Heb. 11:1 with Versamark and Baja Breeze and embossed with Clear EP.  It is framed with a square of Green Apple punched with Martha Stewart Combo Deco Shells Punch Around The Page set.  I added one long stemmed rose from those I colored above.  A couple more pearl flourishes, champagne pearls around the frame and some more Webster's trim and dyed seam binding finished my card.
