Take My Advice

Hi there!  Phew!  It's been a busy week so far!  I haven't had much of a chance for crafting with everything else going on, but I did manage to make a card for this week's challenge at Jackson's Digital Expressions.  The challenge is now always "anything goes", but the option was to use pink, yellow and brown for our creation.

Here is my card:

I went with the option, but my yellow is a little more orange, I think.   Anyway, I started with  a card base of Papertrey Berry Sorbet and layered with patterned papers from the Authentique Uncommon and the Kaisercraft Devonshire 6x6 pads. My image is I Ain't One To Gossip, But from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  I printed it on Cryogen White and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles to their earrings and I used my silver Spica Pen on the silver metal parts.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It is part of her Hissy Fit set.  I'm not sure if this set is moved over to the new store yet.  A striped ribbon bow and some yellow-orange rhinestones finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great evening and I hope to be back soon to post a few more things I'm working on and to check out your blogs.

  22. My gosh, Carla! How do you get so many cards done in so little time? I could understand it if they were sloppily done or super-simple CAS. But they have so much detail, they are colored so well, and they are all so pretty. Just like this one! Goodness, you go, Girl! :^)
I'm exhausted just looking at them all!
