Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  TGIF, yes?  Hope you've had a good week and you've got some fun plans for the weekend!  I'm popping in to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "garden/gardening".   How perfect for this time of year!

Here is my card for the challenge:


I started with a card base of SU Marina Mist and layered with patterned papers from the Basic Grey Picadilly 6x6 pad.  I added a diecut made with my Cheery Lynn Italian Flourish Doily die.  My cute image is Carolina from Mo's Digital Pencil.  She's new in Mo's store here.  As soon as I saw her, I had to have her!  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.   A double-loop bow and a button from my stash finished my card.

I'm entering my card into a couple other challenges: Tuesday Morning Sketches #145 (sketch and use a diecut), Papertake Weekly Challenge (cute, cute, cute), Digital Tuesday Challenge #159 (ribbon and buttons) and Oozak Challenge #2 (spring colors).

    She's adorable Carla! I've been looking at that particular paper in one of my pads, wondering how to use it--well you've found the perfect image to pair it up with. Too cute! Hugs!

    Just beautiful Carla....I just bought Carolina this week but haven't had time to sit down and play. Now you have inspired me to do just that...maybe tomorrow, lol....today is out of the question I'm afraid!

    Oh Carla, this card reminds me of me when I was a little girl. My Father has been an avid vegetable gardener my entire life, and I was always helping him. Your card is so adorable, and simply makes me smile, which I just needed to do today. I love all the colours in the papers and you coloured her so beautifully. You are also the queen of bows by the way, thanks for the trip down memory lane :)S
