Flourishes Book Worm Challenge

I know what you are thinking!  You may have even groaned out loud when you saw that I have another post today.  I'll be super quick.  I wanted to post the book mark I made for the Book Worm Challenge on Flourishes blog and I realized the deadline is just a couple of hours away.

Here is my book mark:

I made a corner bookmark using Beate's terrific tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers.  I started with SU  Lavender Lace as a base and layered with patterned papers from the Bo Bunny Ambrosia 6x6 pad.  I stamped the pansies from Flourishes A Year in Flowers 1 onto Cryogen White and colored them with my Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles to the flowers for some sparkle.  I added a decorative border with my Martha Stewart Edge Punch.  A few pink pearls and a lavender bow finished off my creation.

Thanks for stopping by!  I promise this is it for me for awhile!

Have a great weekend!

  17. Oh you silly girl, everyone loves your posts and creations so you just keep them coming. Haven't been here as often as I'd like as life is in the fast lane right now.......but I do go back to see what beauty I missed out on. Each card you make has your own unique style with such amazing details I'd hate to miss one..

Coloring of these flowers is gorgeous Carla, fantastic DP and a beautiful design. Thanks for the link to the tutorial.

Hope you are having a fantastic weekend. Staying up with severe tornado watches out for us and want to make sure I get hubby and dogs up in time to go the basement if we have a warning. At least it's giving me some much needed free time to visit some of my favorite designers. "Hugs"
