Another JustRite Card

Good morning!  Hope your day is starting off great!  I have a card to share this morning that I made for a couple of challenges.  First, it is another for Joan's Garden's Weekly Challenge #8 where the only requirement was to use JustRite stamps. Go check out all the details of this challenge, because there are some awesome prizes to win if you participate (see my sidebar for a photo of the Grand Prize kindly donated by JustRite).  There was also a blog hop associated with the challenge, giving you even more chances to win a prize from Joan's Gardens!  I was honored to be one of the Guest Designers for the hop.  Joan generously invited the Guest Designers to make an additional card for the challenge if we chose to, so that's what I did.

My card is also for the CAS Challenge (CAS0306) on The Outlawz site.  This week it was a color challenge.
Here are the colors we had to use:

Here is my card for both challenges:

I started with a cardbase of GKD Heavy Base Weight White.  The matting is done with GKD Grass Green CS that was punched with a Martha Stewart border punch.  The image is from the JustRite set, Breath of Spring.  I colored it with Copic markers and added dots of light green glitter to the frame.  The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Origins 6x6 pad.  I used Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Ovals to cut my main image panels.  A bit of yellow gingham ribbon from my stash finished my CAS card.

Thanks for stopping by!  See you soon!

  2. Carla this is so pretty. The daffodils with the green background really make you think of Spring. Your coloring is so pretty. Thanks for creating another card for the challenge at Joan's Gardens.

  3. I feel I can't wait for spring already, and your card makes me remember the flowers coming out of the ground and the sunshine we never see in Iowa in the winter with all that green and yellow. Thanks for the inspiration. Very pretty card.
