Dove Art Blog Hop

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start! I am here this morning with a very special post. The DT from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and some of the ladies from the Make It Crafty DT have come together today for a fun blog hop and to share some exciting news!  Our friend, Jennifer Dove, has a wonderful new rubber stamp line called DoveArt Designs and Little Miss Muffet Stamps now carries them in the store!  Jennifer is focusing on nature images with lots of realistic details that will be perfect for coloring!  We know you will enjoy creating with these new stamps and they will be perfect for so many different occasions!

The full line-up for the hop is shown in the Inlinkz below. We hope you enjoy seeing everyone's creations!  We will be showing you just a few of the new stamps today, but the whole stamp line can be found HERE at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

OK, on to my project!  The stamp I have chosen to use is "Bird on a Branch":

My card base and mats are SU Crisp Cantaloupe and the pretty patterned papers are from the Prima Songbird 6x6 pad.  I colored the beautiful little sparrow image with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC. I didn't add any other embellishments so that the image could take center stage.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I have only one hope for the weekend and that is to get caught up and cleaned up in my craft room!  It's a disaster at the moment!  Anyway, I am here now to share my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "card for a friend".  It is National Make a Card for a Friend Day - lol! The card can be for any occasion, but it should be obvious it is for a friend.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the Glitz Designs Cashmere Dame 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Blue Pearl by Joanne Schemmp, available from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics.  I added Liquid Pearls to the pearl details in the image.  The friendship sentiment is from Create With TLC

Add that to a very busy schedule this week and I am a little late posting today.  I am here now with my DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  It's Inspiration Thursday so throughout they day, the Little Misses and our wonderful guest designers have been sharing inspiration with some of our favorite products.  It's all happening over in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook Group, so be sure to check it out!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Lavender Lace and the patterned papers are from the Memory Box Viola 6x6 pack.  The adorable image is Polka Dot Pals Vicktoria.  Isn't she sweet?  I colored her with my Copics, of course.  The chipboard sentiment is from the Doodle Hello Words Chipboard set from Make it Crafty.  A few Wild Orchid Crafts Roses and a triple loop seam binding bow finished my card.

My card base and mats are SU Rose Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Jubilee Sherbert 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Magnolia Flowers from Make it Crafty.  It's one of the newly-released floral images.  They are all gorgeous!  I colored it in a watercolor style using my Copics.  The Cherish sentiment is from the Doodle Love Word Chipboard Set and is also from Make it Crafty.  I just love this new line of chipboard sentiments!
