Hug In An Envelope

Hi there!  Happy Monday! Hope you had a nice weekend and your week is off to a great start!  It was chilly and windy here today, but I can't complain given what many of my friends and family are bracing themselves for up North!  I hope everyone stays safe from this massive storm.   I am here now with my DT post for the Digi Bells blog.  It's my turn today to share some inspiration with one of the wonderful images in the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Crumb Cake and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Uncommon 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Holly's Happy Mail from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  I colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A die-cut lacy border and a double-loop taffeta bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Digi Bells blog every day for wonderful inspiration from the DT and GDT with the adorable images from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection!  And don't forget, there's still time to join the Digi Bells Blog Hop, with the chance to win one of the newly released Valentine's angels set. You have until Friday, February 6th to hop and leave comments.

I am entering my card in the following challenge:
Friday Sketch Challenge #86 (sketch)

Here is the sketch:

Have a great evening and see you soon!

  7. And share some inspiration you did! a ton of it. This is a gorgeous card and the paper you picked compliments that image so well. Truly a sweet card. We made out OK in the storm. You relatives may have gotten a bit more them we did and I hope they are all right, but we got about 18 inches. No power lost so that really helped. Another 2-4 inches on Thursday night and maybe another Nor'Easter coming next Monday. Have a fun day.

  8. Perfect paper choices, Carla, and lovely colouring of this pretty Elisabeth Bell image. It's such a pretty layout with the double bow and doily type border. Hugs, Lesley
