Guylou's Inimitability - ABC Primer

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  I hope you had a good week and you are ready for the weekend!  It's very early on Friday, but I'm here to share my DT card for the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability.  We are back after our summer break and Gina is hosting our new challenge which is "ABC Primer" - use Apple red, Bling and Charms.  Fun one, right?

Here are the challenge details:
Challenge Deadline:
You have until 10:00 PM (EDT) on September 20th to link your project to the Inlinkz at the end of the challenge post.
How to participate:
You may enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your project will count for two entries.  If you don't have one of Guylou's digistamps, you can check the online store where several freebies are available.
Challenge Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is: Lisa Lynn
Lisa Lynn was the winner of our recent CAS with Kraft challenge and was invited to join us this week. Check out Lisa Lynn's gorgeous project on Guylou's Inimitability Blog.

48h Freebie:
Guylou is offering School Essentials as a freebie for 48 hours starting September 7th. Please visit Guylou's on-line store, add School Essentials to your cart and apply the code SCHOOL-FREEBIE at check out to get it free!

Here is my card:

I used GKD Red Hot for my card base and mats.  The patterned papers are from October Afternoon Report Card and Fly A Kite 8x8 pads.  My fun image is Teacher Leah from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed her on X-Press It and colored with my Copics.  I added Stickles here and there for some bling.  Instead of a sentiment, I used Guylou's School Essentials.  I colored the items with Copics and added more Stickles.  Some Baker's Twine and three silver charms finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Leah:

Be sure to visit Guylou's Inimitability blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer, Lisa Lynn!  We hope you will be inspired to play along with our ABC Primer challenge!

I am also entering my card in the Love To Create Challenge #31 (back to school), Incy Wincy Challenge (back to school) and the Tuesday Throwdown #114 (back to books - books or study theme).

Thanks for stopping by!  See you later on!
