Mo's DP2 Challenge #137 - Weather

Good morning!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  I've had lots of appointments so very little time for card-making or blogging, but it's Thursday and you know that means that it's time for another fun Mo's Challenge!  Certainly couldn't miss out on that!  This week, Elaine is our hostess and the theme is "weather".  Anything weather-related goes as long as you use a Mo's image.

Here is my DT card for the challenge:

I started with a card base of SU Baja Breeze and layered with fun patterned papers from the Kaisercraft Fine & Sunny 6.5x6.5 pad.  My adorable Mo's image is Duck Day.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles here and there for a little sparkle and Glossy Accents to the puddles and raindrops.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A triple-loop satin bow and button from my stash finished my card.

I am also entering my card in the Love To Create Challenge #17 (add a sentiment) and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge (anything goes).

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to pop on over to Mo's Challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations from my super-talented teammies!  We hope you'll play along with your own weather-related creation!   Don't forget, Mo gives away a $5 GC to her store for every 25 entries in the challenge.  You can't win if you don't enter!

Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!

It's All About Me

Good morning!  Happy Memorial Day to everyone celebrating here in the US!  It's been a busy weekend and I only have quick minute to pop in and share the card I made for this week's Jackson's Digital Expressions Challenge (Anything Goes #5 - optional sketch and use two colors).

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card for the challenge:

I did use the sketch but tweaked the base card shape from rectangle to square.  I mainly used shades of two colors, browns and blues.  I started with a card base of SU chocolate Chip and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Bloom 6x6 pad.  My fun image is Lil Cowgirl from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Some Baker's Twine and a button from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your day and hope to see you again soon!

Garden Fairy

Hi there!  Happy Saturday! Hope your holiday weekend is off to a great start!  Although, it's been a busy day, the weather is gorgeous and I managed a little time in the craft room to finish a card I was working on.  My card is for a few challenges: the May/June challenge on Elisabeth Bell's World (sketch challenge), the May Blog Hop Challenge on The Digi Bells Blog (stitching and an Elisabeth Bell image), Bunny Zoe's Monthly Challenge (anything goes), Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #164 (in the garden), Crafts and Me Challenge (fabulous flowers) and another entry for the Oozak Challenge #2 (spring flowers).  Phew - not sure how I kept these straight, but I think I covered everything!

Here is the EBW sketch:

Here is my card for all the challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Pale Plum and layered with soft, flowery papers from the Prima Meadow Lark 6x6 pad.  I machine-stitched around all the panels of the sketch.  My sweet Elisabeth Bell image is Twinkle Toes Flutter from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I stamped her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I did a little highlighting with my Prismacolor pencils and I added a bit of Stickles to her wings and the flower centers.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A doily, a few lavender pearls and three Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope to see you again soon!

Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's a holiday weekend here in the US.  It's so nice to have the extra day to spend with family and friends! Before all that, I'm here this morning to share my project for the Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  It's the last challenge of the month, so the theme is anything goes, but you also have the option to make a calendar page using the free template we've provided in the challenge thread.   All the details and the instructions for printing the template are also in the challenge thread.

Here is my June calendar page:

I printed the calendar page out on GKD Ivory.  I chose an image to highlight Father's Day in June.  The sweet image is Father and Daughter from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find it in Mo's store here.  I printed it on Cryogen White and colored with my Copics.  It's matted on SU Buckaroo Blue, but I didn't add any embellishments since I want to be able to bind the completed calendar when I am done and I don't want it to be too bulky.

My project is also for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge (Father's Day/Special Male).

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from my DT sistahs and our May Guest Designer, Holly.  Holly's creations for all the challenges were terrific!  We hope you will play along with us this time!  It's your chance to be in the running to win a $15 GC from Can You Digi It (our wonderful May Sponsor).

Have a great holiday weekend for those celebrating Memorial Day.  Hope to see you again soon!

Here is the May SFYTT:

Here is the TTCRD inspiration photo:

and the OCCC inspiration photo:

Finally, here is my card:

I layered the sketch panels with patterned papers in the inspiration colors from the Authentique Gathering 6x6 pad.  My fun image is Bling Baby from Kenny K.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored all but her outfit with my Copics.  I printed a second image on patterned paper from the same pad and paper-pieced her clothes.  The sentiment, inspired by the song Born To Be Wild, is from Create With TLC.  I finished my card by adding a bit of shimmer to her turquoise jewelry with a Spica pen.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope to see you again soon!

I'm popping in early today to share the card I made as Guest Designer for Jackson's Digital Expressions.  Kathi is the hostess this week and although all challenges are now"anything goes", the options were to use "inks and such" to color an image and to make anything but a standard A2 card.

Good morning!  The time we've all been waiting for has finally arrived!  It's time for another Create With TLC Blog Hop! Paulette and the TLC Creations Design Team have lots of inspiration and goodies to share with you today!  Our theme this time is "May Flowers".  If you arrived here from Marsha's fantastic blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning at the Create with TLC blog and hop from there so you don't miss a single thing!  Paulette has generously provided all the digi images we have used on our creations as freebies that you can pick up at every stop.  To download the images, simply click on the image then right click and save it to your computer.

Here is the "May Flowers" image I worked with:

Here is my card for the hop:

I started with a card base of SU Pear Pizzazz and layered with patterned papers from the Kaisercraft Devonshire 6x6 pad.  I printed the image out twice on Cryogen White. I masked the image so I could airbrush the background with my Copic airbrush system and YR30 marker.  I removed the masks and colored the rest of the image with my Copics.  I cut out extra butterflies, popped them up for some dimension, then added Stickles to the butterflies and flower centers.  The image is framed with a Cheery Lynn Designs Polynesian Sails Oval die cut in Soft Sky.  The flourish was cut from Pear Pizzazz using the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die.  Some seam binding and a Webster's Pages Sparkler finished off my card.

Thanks for hopping by!  From here, your next stop is Audrey's wonderful blog.  I know she has something beautiful to share with you!   Enjoy the rest of the hop!
