Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Mine isn't!  I am late with my post this morning because I entered the wrong time when I scheduled it.  Sorry about that!  Anyway, I am here now with my DT post for Super Saturday at the Little Miss Muffet blog.  We have a new freebie, a special stamp for just $1 and a spotlighted stamp available at a reduced price and lots of inspiration with all three.

The freebie this week is Cactus Tree and the $1 stamp is Christmas Cactus Tree.  Both are so fun, but unfortunately, I didn't manage to get cards done with them.  I did make a card with the spotlighted stamp, Swings 'n Slides Snowballs, though.  This cutie makes for a perfect Christmas or Winter card!

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Festivus 6x6 pad.  I colored up Snowballs with my Copics, then added a little Snow-Tex (thanks, Jenny) to the snow on the ground and the snowballs.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.    A Memory Box Snowflake Corner and a red taffeta bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the fabulous inspiration from the rest of the Little Misses then hop over to the store for the special deals.  Don't forget there is a huge Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale going on for a couple more days!  You won't want to miss out on the big discounts!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (anything goes)
Allsorts Challenge #235 (inspired by a Christmas song; I used Let it Snow)

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope those who celebrated had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you are ready for the weekend!  Have you already been shopping?  I don't do the Black Friday thing at all, but I will venture out later at least to the grocery store and maybe the hardware store if it isn't too busy.  Before any of that, I am here with my DT post for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  As always for the last Friday of the month, the theme is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  lease remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Teresa Collins Santa's List 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Snowflake Ballet from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  This was one of the items I got when I won Jenny's awesome blog candy recently.  Thanks, Jenny!  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my copics.  I added glitter to her ear muffs, muff and the trim on her dress. I added a bunch of Silver Stickles to the snowflakes around her.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A couple of 3-D silver star stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the festive creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will find time to play along!  There are always great prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Little Miss Muffet - Inspiration Post

Good morning!  Happy Thursday and Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in the U.S. who are celebrating today.  I hope you have wonderful plans with your family and friends.  It is definitely a time to be thankful for so many blessings in our lives.  It will be sad for us, being that it's the first Thanksgiving without my Mom.  However, today I am thankful for having had the chance to reconnect with several of my cousins at her funeral this summer and I am happy to be keeping in touch with them now after many years of not seeing one another.

Anyway, I am here as always on Thursday with my Little Miss Muffet DT post.  Today we are doing an "inspiration post" on the blog.  We all got to pick some of our favorite Little Miss Muffet stamps to showcase and otherwise, it was anything goes.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned paper is from the Recollections Festivus 6x6 pad.  I created a fun Winter scene by merging several images: Jolly Santa by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and the Winter Sign, Winter Fence and Snow Village digis from the Winter Objects Collection by Make it Crafty.   I printed the merged image onto MiC Blending Card and colored the whole thing with my Copics.  I added some stars to the night sky with my Sharpie White Paint Pen and sparkle to the trim on Santa's suit with glitter.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A couple of Memroy Box Snowflake Corners finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the scene:

and a close-up of Santa:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful November Guest Designer, Jenny!  Hope we've given you some fun inspiration with our Little Miss Muffet creations!  Don't forget, you still have until Tuesday, December 3rd at 11:55 PM CST to enter our "all white that night" challenge.  We hope you will play along!

Also wanted to let you know about a big Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale over in the Little Miss Muffet store.  Barbara has some fabulous deals going for the next 5 days!  You definitely won't want to miss out!  Check the LMM blog for all the details.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sentimental Sundays #182 (winter wonderland)
Through the Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
The Cutie Pie Challenge #58 (cute scenes or backgrounds)
Charisma Cardz #46 (Christmas)
Divas by Design (use some red)

Have a wonderful day and see you soon!

Christmas Fairy Celandine

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is going OK so far.  What a nasty day it was here!  It was very windy, rainy and the temps were only in the low 40s!   I sure would have stayed in all day if it weren't for an appointment with my surgeon.  He says I am doing well, but still have to use caution with lifting and bending and I am still supposed to limit my sitting and standing to short periods with rest in between.  This doesn't leave me much to do, does it?  I am not a patient person, but I am going to do what he says and hope that my recovery will go quicker that way.  Anyway, enough about me.  I am here with a quick post to share the card I made for the Make it Colourful Challenge #3 which was focused on skin definition.  The easy challenge was just to use skin colors you don't ordinarily use and the hard challenge was to show muscle definition with your coloring.  I decided to combine them into one image.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned paper is from the Authentique Festive 6x6 pad.  The image is Fairy Celandine from Make it Crafty.  I used the rubber stamp, but the digi is available in the MiC store.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her in Christmas colors with my Copics.  I used a new, darker color combo for the skin and I added muscle definition. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A couple of 3-D poinsettias stickers and a few pearls from my stash were my only embellishments since I was mainly focused on the colored image.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Copics:
Skin: E50, E51, E11, E23
Hair: C3. C5, C9
Red (dress and flowers): R32, R35, R37, R46, R59
Green: G40, G43, G46

That's it for now!  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great evening and see you soon!

Holidays With A Twist

Hi there!  It's me again!  I am back with the fastest post ever to share the card I made for the November Sketch Challenge over on the Make it Crafty Facebook page.  There's only a few days left and I've been procrastinating all month!   All you have to do is use the sketch and a MiC digi or rubber stamp.  I've got lots of both!

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on it:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the sparkly patterned papers are from the DCWV Winter Holiday Stack.  The fun image is Candy Elf from Make it Crafty.  I printed the digi on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics, of course.  I added just a bit of glitter to the trim on the cap and the bells on the hat and shoes.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  The papers were a little busy so I didn't add any more embellishments.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Copics:
Skin: E50, E51, E11, E23
Hair: YR23, E35, E57
Blues: B91, B95, B97
Greens: YG21, YG01, YG17, YG67
Reds: R22, R35, R37, R46, R59
White: C1, C3, C5

Thanks for stopping by again!  I've been trying to get around to visit, so if I haven't already, I will by the end of the day.

Have a great day and see you soon!

Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge November/December

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a good start!  Maybe not so much for those in the path of this early winter storm!  It is very cold here and it's going to rain for days, but we don't expect any of the snow and ice that is predicted for up north.  It sure is going to wreak havoc for those who planned to travel for Thanksgiving.  Anyway, I am here today with my card for the new Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge for November/December.  I get to join in this month as part of the current Digi Bells GDT.  The theme this time is "monochromatic".

Here is my card:

My shaped card base and mats were cut with my Cameo using an Artisan Frame file from the Silhouette store.  The patterned paper is from the Graphics 45 Little Darlings 8x8 pad.  The sweet image is Little Lamb from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  She's framed with a Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight diecut.  I added Liquid Pearl accents around the frame. I used some pretty lace, organza rosettes and a triple-loop seam binding bow.  I created my own stick pin with Swarovski Crystals and pearls.  Wild Orchid Crafts roses, rosebuds and a lily finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the Digi Bells and my fellow GDT, Linda.  We hope you will play along with any Elisabeth Bell image and a monochromatic theme. You have until Sunday, December 22 to enter.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create #47 (create your own challenge)
Allsorts Challenge #234 (bring on the bling)
Love to Create #93 (use your 3 favorite embellishments; I used flowers, lace and pearls)

Crafty Little Fairies (Lace 'n Pearls)

Here is the 613 Ave. C. challenge grid:

Column 1: image, patterned paper
Column 2: shaped card, diecut

Column 4: pearls, bling, flowers
Column 5: ribbon, lace

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  At last we've reached the end of the week!  I hope you've got some fun plans for the weekend!  It's going to be pretty quiet around here, I hope.  We've got a couple of things on the "to do" list, but it's all easy, I think.  Anyway, as always on Friday, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "make a card for a child - any occasion".  The theme was selected in honor of Universal Children's Day.

Here is my child's card:

My card base and mats are SU Pale Plum and the patterned papers are from the Prima Meadow Lark 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Li'l Princess Tu-tu from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added lots of bling to the image: Diamond Stickles to her Tiara, Lavender Stickles to the star on her wand, and Lavender Lace Liquid Pearls to the scalloped frame and her top and boots.  The sentiment was a Friday Freebie from Sharon at A Piece of Heart blog.  I added some Wild Orchid Crafts roses, buds and carnations.  A few lilac pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #74 - White All Night

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a great week so far!  I've been very busy this week.  I don't know why it sometimes happens that everything gets scheduled at once!  Anyway, here we are to Thursday again and it's time for a new challenge on the Little Miss Muffet blog!  The theme this time is "it'll be all white on that night".  We want to see all white on your card except for the image, which can be colored.  This was a hard one for me!  You know I love my patterned papers and the thought of all that white space caused me the biggest mental block evah!

Here is my card:

I used a snowflake embossing folder for the first white background and added a white scalloped border cut with my Cheery Lynn Border Carnivale die to the middle panel.  The image is Clover Snowclouds by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored it with my Copics and added some Stickles and Liquid Pearls to the snowflakes.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A cut out a white star with my Cameo and spritzed it with Pearl Glimmer Mist.  I didn't add any other embellishments, just kept it simple.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog and check out the fabulous white creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designers, Jenny and Jennifer!  We hope you will play along!  You have until Tuesday, December 3rd, at 11:55 PM CST to enter your project.  All of the rules and details are in the challenge post and on the blog sidebar.

Elphine House Australia Challenge #53 - With A Twist

Hi again! I'm back with my DT post for this month's challenge at Elphine House Australia.  I apologize for being late with my post.  I had an eye appointment this afternoon and they dilated my eyes.  I am still having trouble looking at the computer screen!  Anyway, we have something a little different for you starting today. This time, you have your choice of playing along with either or both of two themes - the one we had planned for November and/or the December challenge theme.  The current challenge will run until December 30th and we will announce the winners on December 31st.  Starting in January, we will be back to our normal monthly schedule.  We will have a mid-challenge inspiration post for you, but head on over to the Elphine House blog right now to see some gorgeous DT inspiration with both themes!

Without further ado, the two themes are "falling leaves" or "let it snow".

Here is my card for the "falling leaves" theme:

My card base and mats are cardstock from my stash.  The patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Autumn Song 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Tommy Apples for Mom by Elisabeth Bell for Elphine House Australia.  I stamped him on MiC Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I framed him with an ornate leaf frame cut with my Cameo using a file from the Silhouette store.  I layered the frame over another piece of patterned paper.  The "thankful" sentiment was also cut with my Cameo using a file from Miss Kate Cuttables.  A bunch of Recollections paper leaves, a few rhinestone leaf stickers and some olive gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Elphine House blog and check out the gorgeous creations for both themes from the rest of the DT.  We hope you will play along!  Don't forget, you must you an Elisabeth Bell image (any company) to enter the challenge.

Holly Jolly Christmas

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  The week is already zipping along, isn't it?  It's a busy one for me so it seems to be going by even faster!  I am popping in with a quick post to share another Christmas card I made.  I am really trying to have them ready this year and I'm actually not doing too bad so far.   If only I was good at nice, flat CAS cards, I'd be all done for sure!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Aspen Frost collection.  The cute image is Christmas Nutcracker from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added glitter to the ball on her leggings and Diamond Stickles to the lace around her collar.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A double-loop taffeta bow, a button and a few dimensional stickers from K & Co. finished my card.

Christmas Kiss

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a good weekend and your week is off to a great start!  My thoughts are with all who were impacted by the terrible storms yesterday.   What crazy weather for November!  Luckily, it was just windy and rainy here.  I'm so grateful for that.  Anyway, I am here with a quick post to share another Christmas card I made to add to my stash.  It won't be long before we have to start sending these out!

Here is my card:

I made an scallop circle easel card.  The base and mats are green cardstock from my stash and the patterned paper is from the October Afternoon Holiday Style 8x8 pad.  The festive image is Christmas Kiss by Mo Manning for Penny Black.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Silver Stickles to the ornament top and her barrette, Lime Green Stickles to her slippers and Red Stickles to the heart in her hair.  I added Ice White Pearl Pen accents to her headband and Glossy Accents to the holly berries.   The sentiment is a 3-D sticker from my stash.  I added a couple more ornament stickers to the easel base, but you can't see them here.  A bright red satin bow finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  They weren't able to finish the roof yesterday because it started pouring down rain.  They assure me that they will finish today without fail.  Let's hope so.  Besides the noise, my yard has been strewn with trash and equipment since Tuesday and I'm ready for a quiet, clean yard again.  Enough about that.  I am here to with my Super Saturday post for the Little Miss Muffet DT.  We have a great freebie for you, a wonderful spotlighted stamp at a reduced price, and inspiration from the Little Misses with both.

The freebie is Bountiful Cornucopia.  I didn't have a chance to create with it, but it is perfect for this time of year!  The spotlighted stamp is La Jeune Fille a L'Eventail.  I love this stamp!  It's so elegant, yet fun!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Rose Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Memorable" 6x6 pad.   I stamped La Jeune Fille on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles here and there and Liquid Pearls to the beads on her hat.  I fussy cut her and popped her up on an elegant chaise.  The Victorian Chaise is a digi from Make it Crafty.  I printed it on MiC card and also colored it with my Copics.  It was cut out and popped up on a circle frame.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some pretty lace, a triple-loop seam binding bow and a few paper roses from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored images:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the wonderful inspiration from the other Little Misses!  As a reminder, you still have until Tuesday, November 19th to enter our "seeing dots challenge".  We hope you will join in!
