In Loving Memory

I thought of you with love today,
But that was nothing new.
I thought of you yesterday,
And will tomorrow, too.
So many precious memories,
Are stained with a million tears.
Oh, how I wish that God would have
Saved you for a few more years.
To your resting place I travel,
The flowers placed with care.
No one knows the heartache,
As I turn to leave you there.
Your memory to me is a keepsake,
From which I will never part.
God may have you in His keeping,
But I will always have you in my heart.
Rest in peace, Mom. I will miss you forever.
