Card Patterns Sketch #138

Hi again!  This is my second post today so if you are looking for my Guest Designer card for the Our Creative Corner challenge, please scroll down one post.  I'm back to share my DT card for this week's Card Patterns Sketch. Here is my take on the sketch:

I flipped the sketch to vertical for my card.  Catherine generously provided the DT with some great Stampin' Up products for our samples.  I started with a card base of Concord Crush CS and layered with Pretty in Pink and patterned paper from the Lap of Luxury Designer Series Paper collection. I created the semi-circle panels with Spellbinders Scallop and Classic Circle dies and another pattern of the beautiful Lap of Luxury DSP.  I stamped the sentiment from the SU Birthday Greetings set with Concord Crush onto Very Vanilla and cut it out with a Spellbinders Labels 4 die.  I sponged the sentiment panel with Pretty in Pink while it was still in the die.  I used the coordinating Concord Crush Poly Twill Ribbon for my bow and added a pink button from my stash.  A few pink roses and  pearl accents made with a Viva Decor Rose Paper Pen finished my card.
