Here is this week's fab sketch from Debra:
Here is my card:
You will rarely see me do a card without any image, even if I go the CAS route, but I was a bit perplexed with the sketch, to be honest. I settled for a simple "celebrate" card with a scrap of patterned paper, a bit of rick rack and a pretty triple-loop seam binding bow. I used a few paper flowers from my stash. The sentiment is from Create With TLC. That's it! Not much else to say, I'm afraid. I'll be back to images again next time!
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to visit the Sketch Saturday blog and check out the cute and creative takes on the sketch from the rest of the Saturday Girls and our Guest Designer for May, Rachel. We hope you will play along this week!
I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Have a wonderful day and see you soon!
Carla, your card is gorgeous. You just have to get that patterned paper in there. Hope you dry out today and get a chance to enjoy the weather and weekend.ReplyDelete
I have grown used to your coloring on a project, but I have to say I love the clean lines of your card and the simple design. It is just gorgeous!ReplyDelete
Carla, I know this is not the norm for you, but it is a beautiful, spring like card and I really do love it. I love that you used the ric rac for the flower stems. Very cute/different idea. I think we are getting some of that rain today also. Yesterday it rained on and off most of the day, but it is suppose to be nice for Sunday and most of next week. Hope so.ReplyDelete
Beautiful card Carla. Loving the creativity this sketch has inspired. Hug, DebReplyDelete
Oh, I love it, Carla. Great paper, ribbon, and darling flowers with the rick rack stems.ReplyDelete
I sure hope the rain is over, too.
Absolutely Fabulous Sweetie, hugs Pops x x xReplyDelete
