Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you've got some fun weekend plans.  It's been a very busy week for me and I'm hoping for a little downtime this weekend.  Before heading out for today's appointments, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Since it's the last Friday of the month, the theme is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  The twist is completely optional.  Remember you can now use any coloring medium, but you must still have a colored image on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Mossy Meadow and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Christmas 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Mistletoe Kiss from Delicious Doodles.  It is also available from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few pearls and a sparkly Christmas tree sticker finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the festive projects from my teammies, Dawn, Penny and Kathi!  We hope you will play along this week!  This is the last week to get in on the prize from our July sponsor, All Dressed Up Stamps.  They are offering the winner their choice of 2 digis from the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy shop.  Wendy's digis are so fun, so be sure to go check them out.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Twisted Tuesday Challenge #71 - Guest Designer

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Are you having a good week so far?  Hope so!  I've been busy already, but today I have something exciting to share with you!  After winning a challenge a few weeks back, I was invited to be a Guest Designer for today's new Twisted Tuesday Challenge.  Fun, right? You bet!  The theme is "live a clean, green life".  The challenge is to keep your project clean (no distressing or inked edges, etc.) and the twist is to use green.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Certainly Celery and the patterned papers are from my scrap bag.  I think the top one is GCD Studios Happiness and the bottom one is from Kaisercraft.  The fun image is Uptown Girls Madison Has A Margarita from Stamping Bella.  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Stickles to the trim on her dress and her hair ties and Glossy Accents to the glass.  I left off the sentiment until I decide on who will get this and for what occasion.  A simple punched border and ribbon and bow finished my clean, green card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the new Twisted Tuesday Challenge!  I'm sure the team would love to have you play along!

I am entering my card in the following challenge:

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  At last the weekend is upon us!  Hope you have fun plans on your end!  I've got a busy Saturday planned and then I have to go out of town for a couple of days on Sunday, so I'll be scrambling.  Before I head off to do a million errands, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "Awareness" (breast cancer or any other; feature an awareness ribbon).  It's perfect since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, but it doesn't have to be about breast cancer. However, you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my awareness card:

My card base and mats are from my cardstock stash and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Bittersweet 6x6 pad.  I used Kenny K.'s Breast Cancer Fighter and colored her up with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some polka dot ribbon, a few pearls and a metal pink ribbon charm finished my card.

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  The weekend is nearly here!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am starting to feel better, so I know the weekend will be better than during the week.  Before getting on with my day, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme for this last week of the month is the ever-popular "anything goes" with the option to make it a Christmas creation.  Don't forget, you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye All is Bright 6x6 pad.  The precious image is In The Manger from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find it in Mo's shop here.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some splashes of Shabby White Fran-Tage for some texture and sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added fancy corners cut with my Cameo using a free cut file from SVG Cuts. I embellished them with fancy pearl accents.  Some pretty lace finished the outside of my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Although I don't usually, I decorated the inside of my card, too.  Here is the inside:

I used another design from the same patterned paper pad and a sentiment frame made with my Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles dies.  The sentiment on the inside is from JustRite Stampers Christmas Nested Sentiments. I don't think these old style stamps are available anymore.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the lovely creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will be inspired to play along!  It is your last chance to get in on the prize offered by our September sponsor, Digistamps 4 Joy.  One randomly-chosen participant in this month's challenges will win 5 digis of their choice from the DS4J shop!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp #175 (Kim's sketch)
Twisted Tuesday Challenge #59 (Challenge: splatter; Twist: at least two words)
Charisma Cardz Challenge #38 (decorate the inside)
Crafts-Too Challenge You #3 (Theme: texture; Twist 2-add something shiny or glittery; I used Fran-Tage)
