Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #168

Hi there!  Hope you had a great day!  I'm back with a second post today to share the card I made for the Timeless Tuesday Challenge #168 on Flourishes blog.  The theme was "pink" - main color had to be pink.

Here is my pink card:

I started with a card base of GKD Innocent Pink and layered with patterned papers from the Echo Park Victoria Garden 6x6 pad.  The image is from Flourishes A Year In Flowers 2.  I stamped it on Cryogen White and colored it with my Copics.  It was cut out with Spellbinders Classic Circles and matted with a Spellbinders Lacey Circles diecut.  I added some pearls around the scallops.  The sentiment is from an old SU set.  I finished the card with some sheer ribbon and another white pearl for the center of the bow.

Timeless Tuesday #151 (and more)

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  I hope you've had a nice weekend!  It was a 3-day holiday weekend here in the US, so it was kind of a busy one for me.  I didn't have much time in the craft room, but I did manage to finish a card I was making for two challenges I like to do: Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #151 (photo inspiration) and The Paper Players #78 (color challenge).

Lucky for me, the colors were very similar for both, so I went with the colors as my inspiration from the Timeless Tuesday photo.  I started with a card base of GKD Heavy Base Weight White which I cut with my Spellbinders Labels One Grand Nestabilities in the Grand Calibur.    I cut a smaller panel of Cryogen White Iridescent with the largest of the regular Labels One Nesties.  I cut a third panel first with the Cheery Lynn FRM15 Lattice #2 die then the same Spellbinders Labels One die so I could layer the lattice over the Labels One diecut.  I stamped the crocus from Flourishes A Year in Flowers 1 set twice with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Cryogen White and colored both flowers with Copics (YG25, YG23, YG21, G21, G20, R14, R22, R20, R00).  I cut out the whole image from one and just the flowers from the other.  The flowers were popped up on foam tape over the base image to add dimension.  I cut a flourish from SU Pear Pizzazz with the Cheery Lynn Tropical Flourish die and layered it on the lattice. The crocus image was popped up on the flourish.  A soft pink May Arts silk bow finished my card.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #147

Hello!  I hope you are having a good day!  I still feel pretty yucky - this sure isn't a great time to get sick!  I still have so much to do to get ready for the holidays!  I did get one more Christmas card done thanks to the Timeless Tuesday Challenge over at the Flourishes blog.  Silke had a great sketch for this week's challenge, so I jumped right on it.   I'm really enjoying creating with the wonderful stamps I won last month!

I kept my design pretty clean and simple like the sketch.  I started with a card base of GKD Heavy Base Weight White and added some strips of patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas 6x6 pad.  I stamped the snowglobe and scene from Flourishes Joy Is In The Air set with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copics.  I added some Ice Glitter to all the snow to make it sparkle.  The image and mat were cut out with Spellbinders Scallop abnd Classic Circle Nestabilities and the whole thing was popped up on foam tape.  I finished my card with a simple sentiment from Flourishes A Gift For You set.

Oh, and I almost forgot, my card is also for this week's Craft Your Passion Challenge #87 which was "anything goes" but must have glitter.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #143

Hi again!  I'm back for another quick post.  I've been procrastinating on all my chores and instead snuck in another quick card today!  It is for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #143 which was to use the double embossing technique on our card.   I love the look of this technique but rarely think to do it. 

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of GKD Heavy Base Weight White.  I did my background embossing with the Cuttlebug Tiffany folder using a Spellbinders Labels Twenty cardboard mask.  I then embossed the clear area with the same Labels Twenty die.    I stamped the image from Flourishes Meet Me Under The Mistletoe set with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copics.  I stamped the image again on Cryogen White, colored it and popped it up on the base image.  The sentiment is also from Meet Me Under The Mistletoe.  I was so lucky to have won that set during last month's release and I couldn't wait to use it!  A few pearls on the kissing ball finished my simple card.
