Card Patterns Sketch #136

Happy Saturday!  It's a gorgeous fall day here in Alabama!  I can't wait to get out and enjoy the day!  Before I do, I'm popping in to share my DT card for this week's Card Patterns Sketch.  This week, we are being sponsored by Kim at My Craft Spot

And here is my take on the sketch:

Kim generously provided the design team with some beautiful hand-dyed ribbons and Baker's twine for our projects.  I chose to use some soft and pretty Petal Pink seam binding and Chocolate Truffle Brown Baker's Twine for mine.  I started with a card base of SU Blushing Bride and papers from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Blush 6x6 pad.   I machine-stitched around all the panels.  My sweet image is Lady Tilda from the Fairytale Collection 2010.  She's colored with Copics, cut out and popped up on foam tape.  A few tiny roses airbrushed with Copics finished my card.

My card is also for the current challenge (#28) in the Copic Challenge Group on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom site which was Vintage & Distressed Coloring. Suzanne has some fantastic videos there on how to color in this style.

Thanks for stopping by! If you haven't already, be sure to visit the Card Patterns blog and check out the fabulous creations from my amazingly talented teammates, Kim from My Craft Spot and our wonderful Guest Designer, Suzanne.  We hope you'll be inspired to play along with us!

Have a fantastic weekend!
