Card For A Couple of Challenges

Hi there!  Hope you are having a great weekend!  We got the rain from Tropical Storm Lee most of the day, so all outdoor plans had to be put on hold.  It's OK because we really need the rain here in AL and it gave me the chance to spend a little time in my craft room today.  My card is for two challenges - the September Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) on Jen Del Muro's blog and the current challenge (#26) on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom Copic Challenge Group, which was to create a project with a fall or Halloween theme.

Here is the September SFYTT:

And here is my card for both challenges:

I decided to go with a Halloween theme.  Unfortunately, I don't have any fun Halloween papers, so I had to improvise with what I had.  I started wth an A6 size card base of GKD Black Onyx and layered with patterned paper from the Basic Grey Black Tie Vintage Paper Pack.  The purple panel is from Glitz Designs Plum Crazy collection of papers.  The green panel is from the Basic Grey Hello Luscious collection.  My cute image, Trick or Treat, is from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I'm not a big Halloween person, but this darling image of Bella and Bronte trick-or-treating just sucked me in!  I printed it on Cryogen White Iridescent and colored it with Copic markers.  I added some Stickles here and there for some sparkle. The sentiment is from one of the SU All Year Cheer sets, I think, but I couldn't figure out which one.  A few adhesive gems finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!  See you soon!
