Create With TLC Blog Hop - A Walk Through Nature

Good morning!  Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a great weekend so far!  It's time for our latest Create With TLC blog hop! Today, Paulette and the Create With TLC DT have a fantastic blog hop with lots of  beautiful creations to inspire you!  The theme for the hop is "a walk through nature".  Paulette has generously provided fantastic freebies for you to pick up at every stop along the way.  If you arrived here from Karen's wonderful blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you'll want to head back to the Create With TLC blog and start the hop from there so you don't miss any of the team's gorgeous creations or the fantastic freebies!

Here is the beautiful nature image I got to create with:

To download the freebie for yourself, click on the image, then right click and choose
"Save as..." and save it to your computer.

Here is my card with the image:

My card base and mats are GKD Fresh Asparagus and the barely-visible patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus collection. I let the image take center stage.  It is colored with my Copics.  I layered on a beautiful sentiment, also from Create With TLC.  You can't see it well, but I ink-distressed the edges of the image panel with Antique Linen Distress Ink and I spritzed the whole image with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist.  A triple-loop, distressed seam binding bow and a couple of botanical Whimsies from Webster's Pages finished my card.

Thanks for hopping by!  Your next stop is the talented Lisa Lynn's blog, where she has something beautiful to share with you!  Enjoy all the freebies and the rest of the hop!

If you get lost along the way, here is the whole list:

Have a great day and see you soon!

Hi again!  I am back, as promised, with my DT post for Super Saturday at the Little Miss Muffet blog. Thanks to all who participated in our special event and fundraiser last week!  We are back to our normal format this week with inspiration for a few spotlighted stamps, which will be offered at a reduced price for a limited time in the Little Miss Muffet Stamps store.  There are a couple of really cute stamps being featured this week!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pretty in Pink and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Happy Day 6x6 pad.  The adorable stamp I am spotlighting is Polka Dot Pals Lydie from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I attempted drawing another face for her.  I hope with lots of practice, I will get better at it!  Everything is colored with Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some striped ribbon and a few pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of cute Lydie:

Here is the fab sketch created by Cathy:
Here is my take on the sketch:

My card base and mats are SU Cranberry Crisp and the patterned papers are from the Carta Bella Beautiful Moments 6x6 pad.  The image is Pearls in My Hair from A Day for Daisies.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bunch of Cream Pearl Pen accents to her hair.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A simple sheer bow and a few pearls finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:
