Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I'm back!  Hope you had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I'm thinking of all my friends and family in the Northeast and hoping you all stay safe from the impending storm.  Sounds like it will be a doozy!  I was living in Boston during the blizzard of '78 and that storm comes in second to being the worst snowstorm in the city's history.  This one might set a new record.  Yikes!  Anyway, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "Valentines or Love".  Very original, yes?

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic 6x6 pad.  In the background is a heart doily from the Silhouette store cut with my Cameo.  My sweet image is Canary Love from Saturated Canary.  Krista generously shared her as a freebie awhile back, but you can find her in the store now.   I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics. I added Stickles here and there, some Mint Green Liquid Pearls to her earrings and buttons and Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen dots around the image.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I shaded it with my Copics.  I added three diecut hearts and three Wild Orchid Crafts roses to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and see what the rest of the DT has created for your inspiration!  We hope you will play along this week!  The February challenges are being sponsored by "yours truly".  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win a $15 gift certificate to Mo's Digital Pencil.  There are also lots of monthly site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Friday Sketch Challenge #36 (sketch)
Saturated Canary Challenge #36 (color inspiration; use at least three colors)

Sending You Love

Hi there!  I'm back!  Yes, this is my second post today.  If you are looking for my Little Miss Muffet DT card, please scroll down one post.  I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do.  So many of them have the "love" theme going on right now given that Valentine's Day is just around the corner!

Here is another Valentines/Love creation from me for today:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic 6x6 pad.  These papers have all my favorite colors in them!  My sweet image is A Pen Friend from Elisabeth Bell for Belles 'n Whistles which is still available at Loves Rubberstamps here.  I stamped her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles here and there for a little extra sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added three beveled pearl hearts along with some striped ribbon and a bow.  The larger pearl heart button I made myself using 6 hearts punched from cardstock which I covered with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  A tiny Baker's Twine bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Little Miss Muffet Challenge

Good morning!  Happy early Thursday!  Sorry I've been MIA, but I've had a few things going on in my world and I haven't had much time to visit my craft room.  I hope to make up for it this weekend!  Anyway, I'm here now with my Little Miss Muffet DT post.   We have a new challenge starting this week.  This time it is a sketch challenge.  What better way to kick start your mojo than with a fun sketch?

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on it:

My card base and mats are GKD Lipstick Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Spencer's Bucket Full of Love from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He is available as a rubber stamp, but I used a digi version.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added lots of Red Stickles to the hearts for some extra sparkle.  I cut him out with my Cameo and popped him up on foam tape.  The "Love" sentiment is from the Silhouette store and it was cut out of red glitter paper. I finished my card with two layered paper rosettes from K & Co.

Here is a close-up of Spencer:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful guest designer for February, Shelly!  We sure hope you will play along with us!  You have until Tuesday, February 19 to enter.  If you use either a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme and you can enter as many times as you'd like.  Otherwise, please follow the theme and enter only once.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

QKR Stampede #24 (love is in the air)

Elisabeth Bell February Digi Release Blog Hop

Good morning!  It's now a decent hour on Friday and I'm up and about and here to share my project for the Elisabeth Bell February Digi Release Blog Hop.  This is a bittersweet post for me.  It is my last one as a member of the GDT for the Digi Bells.  It's been a wonderful three months and I am so very grateful to Elisabeth and The Digi Bells for the incredible opportunity to design alongside their amazingly-talented and inspiring team!  I will miss it very much, but you can be sure I will still be sharing lots of creations made with Elisabeth's gorgeous stamps here on my blog! Anyway, if you arrived here from Lynda's blog, you are on track.  If not, you will want to start at The Digi Bells blog and hop from there so you don't miss a single gorgeous creation!.

The new digi being released into the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection this month is called "Love You, Miss You".   Isn't she absolutely precious?

Here is the card I created :

My card base and mats are GKD Innocent Pink and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft English Rose 6x6 pad.  I printed the adorable image on Make it Colour Blending card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of rose Stickles to the flower centers and some pink Liquid Pearls to the the pink polka dots.  I went over some of the metal bits on the trunk with my Silver Spica Pen. I cut out around the image with my Cameo and popped it up on foam tape.  Some stitched ribbon and a layered rosette from K & Co. finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Here are the hop details:

To win this adorable digi, you will have to go through the whole hop and leave comments on each blog in order to better your chances to win!  Winners will be picked from comments left on two randomly-selected DT blogs. The hop will end at 9:00 AM (Arizona time) on February 8, 2013.  The winners will be picked and posted on The Digi Bells blog on Saturday, February 9, 2013.

Here is the whole line-up for the hop:

Guylou's Inimitability - Off Color Creation

Hi again!  Happy "very early" Friday!  I plan to be asleep when you see this!  I'm back to share my DT card for the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability.  Chana is our wonderful hostess this week and she is challenging us to make an "off color creation".  She wants to see the colors blue, gray and orange and for us to also use a humorous sentiment.  Wow, this was a toughy for me!

Here are the challenge details:
Challenge Deadline:
You have until 10:00 PM (EDT) on February 14th to link your project to the Inlinkz at the end of the challenge post.
How to participate:
You may enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your project will count for two entries.  If you don't have one of Guylou's digistamps, you can check the online store where several freebies are available.
Challenge Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is: Lilia
Lilia was the winner of our recent Twisted Christmas challenge and was invited to join us this week. Check out Lilia's wonderful project on Guylou's Inimitability Blog.

Here is my card:

I had a tough time with this color combo and as you know, I'm not all that humorous either!  Anyway, my card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned paper is from my ancient stash.  Some of it is from the Basic Grey Marrakech 6x6 pad and the orange is from my scrap bag.  My fun image is Miguel is Fishing 2 from Guylou's Inimitability.  He is one of the newest images in Guylou's store.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a bit of Orange and Aqua Stickles to the fish and a touch of Letraset Silver Metallic Marker to the metal parts of the fishing rod.  The "humorous" sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Life is Short set in Paulette's store here.  A few gray pearls in the corners finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Miguel:

Thanks for stopping by!  Please visit the Guylou's Inimitability blog and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer, Lilia.  We hope you will play along for a chance to win a store GC and a guest designer spot.
