Little Miss Muffet New Christmas Releases

Good morning!  Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!  I know I have so much to be thankful for even though things are a bit tough for my family right now.  I've had so little time for card-making and blogging these past two weeks, but I keep hoping things will get back to normal soon. Meanwhile, I can't miss popping in to share my Little Miss Muffet DT card.  Sorry to be late, but Mr. Blogger was supposed to post this for me earlier, but obviously had a few technical difficulties. Anyway, we have another new release this week and wait until you see the five adorable new rubber stamps from Pollycraft (Paula) and 6 fun new digis from Barbara)!  You can see them all in the What's New section of the Little Miss Muffet shop.

Here is my card:

My card base and many mats are SU Blue Bayou and all the different patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Merry 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Swings 'n Slides Snow Buds.  I printed it on Make it Color Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I added snow glitter to their pom poms and the ground and a bunch of Stickles here and there for a bit of sparkle.  I added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was part of the fabulous Winter Club from Paulette.  A few iridescent pink gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanksgiving Wishes

Good morning!  Happy Friday! Can it possibly be Friday already?  I guess there is no way around it.  Hope you have fun plans for the weekend anyway!  I am popping in early to share a card I made for two of my DTs - Guylou's Inimitability and the Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz.  I rarely get to combine my DT assignments, but it worked perfectly this week because both had the theme of Thanks or Thanksgiving.  In fact, I am the hostess for this new challenge at Guylou's!

Here are the Guylou's Challenge details:
Challenge Deadline:
You have until 10:00 PM (EDT) on November 29th to link your project to the Inlinkz at the end of the challenge post.
How to participate:
You may enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your project will count for two entries.  If you don't have one of Guylou's digistamps, you can check the online store where several freebies are available.
Challenge Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is: Ursula
Ursula was the winner of our recent Just To Die For Challenge and was invited to join us this week. Check out her beautiful project on Guylou's Inimitability Blog.

Here is my card for both challenges:

My card base and mats are GKD Dark Brown and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose Mabel 6x6 pad.  My cute image is Leah Cooks A Turkey from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Bisque Liquid Pearls for the detail on her apron pockets.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A chocolate rope bow and a few chocolate pearls finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Leah:

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Textiles

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week!  Sorry I've been MIA again, but I have a family member who's been ill and there has not been any extra time for crafting or blogging.  Still, I couldn't miss my DT post for the new Little Miss Muffet Challenge! Yes, we have a new challenge starting this week and the theme is "textiles" - use fabric, lace, yarn, etc. on your creation.  There are so many possibilities for this one!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Blue Bayou and the patterned paper is from the K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Christmas 12x12 pad.  I love that these papers can create a scene all on their own.  For my textiles, I cut and stitched a scrap of white felt over the snow in the scene to add dimension.  The cute winter image is Saffron from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  She was a freebie last year and I think she was my first LMM stamp!  I fell in love with all of the cute images at LMM and the rest is history!  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Stardust and Gun Metal Stickles to her skirt and coat buttons, White Opal Liquid Pearls to the pom poms on her scarf, and some white glitter to her hat brim and muff.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Enjoy The Snow set in Paulette's store here.  A few Jolee's sparkly snowflake stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Saffron:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the awesome creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer for the challenge, Shari!  You have until Tuesday, November 27 to enter the challenge.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme.  We hope you will play along!

And we also have a little bit of Little Miss Muffet Store news. Barbara will be heading out of town for several days. Therefore:
1. As digi orders will be slightly delayed, all digi orders will also receive a new, unrevealed, winter-themed digi image

2. Rubber and diecut orders will be shipped out on 27th November and will receive a free sentiment stamp. You can choose from Royal Decree or Sugar & Spice Sentiment. Please e-mail Barbara with your choice of free stamp at the time of ordering

This offer applies to any order placed between November 15-26 at Midnight, Central Time.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Anything Goes Challenge #80 (stitching)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner #36 (anything goes, any artist)
Through The Craftroom Door #44 (always anything goes)
Oozak #8 (winter vibes)
One Stop Craft Challenge #204 (anything goes)
Paper Crafting Journey (anything goes)

Have a great day and I promise I will be by to visit your blogs whenever I have a free minute!

Thankful For Heroes

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are gearing up for a fun weekend!  I've had a lot going on this week and it sure has eaten into my crafting and blogging time.  I'm hoping the weekend brings a little down time for working in my craft room. Before getting going with my day, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this time is Remembrance Day (tribute to veterans or any other special remembrance).  You must do some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand), but otherwise how you interpret the theme is up to you.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Green Apple and the papers are from the Authentique Loyal 6x6 pad.  While not really camouflage, I thought the colors and patterns of the papers still worked with the theme.  My adorable image is Soldier Boy from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find him in Mo's store here.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I made the camouflage pattern on his clothes and hat by dabbing with my BG95, BG93 abd BG91 markers. The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.   A double-loop navy taffeta bow and a few stars punched from green glitter paper finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the beautiful creations from the rest of the DT!  I am sure you will be inspired to play along.  Our November challenges are being sponsored by Mischelle of That's Fabulous!.  One randomly-selected participant in our challenges will win 3 digis and a paper pack of their choice from That's Fabulous!.  And don't forget there are always lots of fantastic monthly site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter any of the challenges at The Outlawz.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Through The Craftroom Door #43 (anything goes)
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #179 (sketch below)
Mo's DP2 Challenge #160 (C is for...camouflage and cute)
The Color Throwdown #217 (black, white, lime and navy)
