A Quick Post

Hi there!  This is my second post today.  I rarely do two posts in a day, but I finished a card I was working on and thought I'd get it posted before I head out for the afternoon.  My card is for this week's Sweet Sketch Wednesday #140-47.  This week's challenge is being sponsored by Tracey at The Stamping Boutique.  It gave me a great chance to use a fun image called Art Doll that Tracey generously offered as a freebie awhile back, but it's available in The Stamping Boutique store now.

Here is Arlana's great sketch:

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of SU Groovy Guava and layered with patterned papers from the Bo Bunny Olivia collection.  As I mentioned above, the image is a digi called Art Doll from The Stamping Boutique.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with Copic markers.  I added some Stickles here and there for a bit of sparkle.  I matted the image panel with a Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs diecut.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I kept this one very simple - no added embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by again!  As always, I really appreciate when you visit.

Have a great weekend and see you soon!

Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday! I'm here early again to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  This week the theme is Love (Valentine's Day, Anniversary/Friendship) - you get the idea!  We also have something special for you this week.  We have a fun tutorial from our very own, very talented teammie, Dawn, on how to make a beautiful Color Block Blender Background with your Copics and colorless blender.  You can find all the details and Dawn's tutorial in the challenge thread.  Of course, it's optional to use the technique for the challenge.

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of SU Real Red and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.   My sweet image is Canary Love from Saturated Canary.  Krista generously shared this wonderful image as a freebie recently.  I colored her with Copics then added a bit of Red Stickles here and there for some sparkle.  The sentiment was a freebie from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I created the heart in the corner using Dawn's terrific tutorial and a Spellbinders Heart die.  A few roses and punched leaves finished my card.

My card is also for a couple of other challenges: Sketch Saturday #193, Saturated Canary Challenge #10 (red, pink and white) and the Copic Challenge #36 on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom site (the colors of love - red, pink, cream and white).  Here is the SS-193 layout:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the amazing creations from my wonderful DT sistahs and our fabulous Guest Designer for February, Kathi!  We hope you'll be inspired to break out your Copics and play along with our "love" challenge!

Have a good weekend and see you soon!

Mo's DP2 Challenge #121 - BINGO

Good morning!  I'm off to an early start today because it's Thursday and of course, that means it's time for another fun Mo's Challenge!  This week, we've got BINGO for you!  That's right - you get to choose any row, column or diagonal and use the three products in your selection on your card!  I told you it was fun!

Here is the BINGO card for your selection:

I chose the top row for my card - gems, ribbon and flowers.  Here is my card:

I started with a card base of SU Ruby Red and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  My darling Mo's image is one of her Fairy Princesses.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics.  I snuck in a little glitter here and there for some extra sparkle.  The sweet sentiment is from the Play on Words set from Paulette at Create With TLC. You can find it in Paulette's store here.  A few gems, a satin bow and a few flowers from my stash finished my card.

My card is also for the Crafty Emma's Store Challenge #71 (wings and/or a sketch- I used both) and Digital Tuesday #146 (use pink or red). Here is the CES sketch:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Mo's Challenge blog and check out the amazing creations from my wonderful and talented teammies!  Why not play "BINGO" along with us using your favorite Mo's image?  You could win a free digi from Mo's store!

Have a great day and see you soon!

Another Valentine's Day Card

Hi again!  I didn't think I'd be back before tomorrow, but I was able to finish up another card for a couple of challenges, so I thought I'd pop in and load it up! This one is for the Just Us Girls Challenge #122 (sketch challenge) and the Our Creative Corner Challenge (love is in the air and a recipe: use pink, gray and Kraft, have sparkle and include a heart shape). It is also for the Tuesday Throwdown #84 (be my valentine).

Here is the JUGS sketch:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I kept my card pretty simple to let the pretty papers and cute image be the focal point.  I started with a card base of GKD Kraft and layered with patterned papers from the Authentique Uncommon 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is With Love from Mo Manning.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her in the soft colors of the OCC challenge (pink, gray and Kraft).  I added sparkle by glittering up the heart and the pieces of paper around her feet.  The lacy border for the center panel was cut with the Cheery Lynn Francesca border.  That is it - I think I covered all the bases!

Thanks for dropping by again!  I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for this week's fun Mo's DP2 Challenge.

Love Is In The Air

Hi there!  It's been a little while since I've posted!  I was away over the weekend and then have been super busy so far this week, but I finally had time to pop in and share a card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do.  First, it's for the February Sketch For You To Try on Jen Del Muro's blog.  It's also for the Basic Grey Challenge #62 (Love & Valentines) and this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge (Love Is In The Air).

Here is the February SFYTT:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of GKD Lipstick Red and layered with patterned papers from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is With Love Boy from Mo Manning.  You can find him in Mo's store here.  I printed him on Cryogen White and colored him with Copics.  I added Crystal Stickles to the heart and pieces of paper at his feet.  My sentiment ticket is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It was part of the February Club.  I added a few hearts punched from glitter paper and that finished off my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!
