Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and there is something fun on your agenda for the weekend!  The sun is finally shining here and except for the chance of a passing thunderstorm, it's looking to be a nice weekend.  Here's hoping!  I am here now with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "red roses", in honor of Red Rose Day.  In theory, we'd like to see at least one red rose on your project, but you can use other color roses, too.  Obviously, I didn't get the memo - lol!  I added pink roses!  At least there are some red roses in my patterned paper.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Sage Shadow and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Victoria Garden 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Jaye and Feathered Friends by Norma J. Burnell.  You can find it in Norma's Fairy Tangles Art Etsy shop. I colored it with my Copics and added some Petal Pink, Gold and White Opal Liquid Pearls for accents.  A chevron-striped ribbon bow, a few Wild Orchid Crafts roses and some pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the gorgeous work by my teammies, Penny, Kathi, Vannessa and Karen over in the Friday Coloring Challenge.  We hope you will play along this week! Norma Burnell is our wonderful sponsor for the month of June and she is offering our lucky winner three digis of their choice from her Fairy Tangles Art Etsy shop. Go have a browse through her shop and feast your eyes on her beautiful artwork!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Creative Fingers Challenge #83 (anything goes)
Fab 'n' Funky Challenges #263 (fantasy or fables)

Have a wonderful weekend and see you soon!
