Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post today.  If you are looking for my Make it Crafty Sitting Pretty Blog Hop post, please scroll down one.  I am back to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is a color inspiration.  You don't have to match the colors exactly, but we'd like to be able to see the general color palette on your project.  And please remember that you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) to enter.

Here is the color inspiration, courtesy of Design Seeds:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pistachio Pudding and the patterned papers are from the October Afternoon Nine to Five 8x8 pad.  The beautiful image is Butterfly Bliss from Delicious Doodles.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added glitter to the butterfly wings for some sparkle.  A triple-loop seam binding bow and a Wild Orchid Crafts Cherry Blossom from my stash finished my card.

My card base and mats are GKD Dark Brown and the patterned papers are from the Glitz Designs All Dolled Up 6x6 pad.  I sat Emily on the Ornate Chair from the recent Shopping release. I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is a rubber stamp from my stash.  A few wooden embellishments and some Rose Pearl Pen accents finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #88 - Anything Goes

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far! I'm still not doing a lot of crafting, but I'm trying to ease back into it, slowly, but surely.  Today I am here, as always on Thursdays, with my Little Miss Muffet DT post.  We have brand new challenge starting today and the theme is the ever-popular, anything goes.  I'm sure we'll have a good turn-out for that!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Notable" 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Polka Dot Pals Ualani.  She is one of the new Polka Dot Pals released last week.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of Yellow Stickles to her glasses and some grass for her to sit in.  A few patterned paper tabs with Ice White Pearl Pen accents finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Elphine House Australia Challenge #59 - Rain or Shine

Hi again!  I'm back with my DT post for the new challenge on the Elphine House Australia blog. It's hard to believe a whole month has already gone by!  The theme for Challenge #59 is "rain or shine".  It's your choice, but please remember you must use an image from Elisabeth Bell (any company) to enter.

Here is my card:

I went for "shine" for my theme.  My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye On The Sunny Side 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Carrie Three Wheeling from Elphine House Australia.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added in some grass, a path and a cloudy sky with my Copics, too.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some dotted ribbon and a few pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Under the Sea

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Did you think I'd disappeared again?  I did, kind of.  I ran out of all the cards I'd made before my surgery and haven't been able to sit very long to make more.  I did manage to put a card together to share today.  It's for a few challenges I like doing, one that was ending today.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are all from the Webster's Pages Seaside Retreat Petite Papers pack.  The gorgeous image is Marina from Delicious Doodles.  It is also available in rubber and as a digi from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed the digi on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles (Aqua, Turquoise, Purple, Yellow and Red) and some Ice White Pearl pen accents. I machine-stitched two zig zags down the left panel.  A few Wild Orchid Crafts Cherry Blossoms, a simple bow and a metal fish charm finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  If I can stand a little more sitting later, I'll pop on by to visit.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 #17 (sketch)
Delicious Doodles #92 (stitch it)
Creative Fingers Challenge #39 (anything goes)
The Squirrel and the Fox Challenge #72 (use something metal)
Delicious Doodles June FB Contest (anything goes with DD)
Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans Art Contest (anything goes with SPS image)
