Little Miss Muffet Challenge #71 - It's A Doodle

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Have you had a good week so far?  Hope so.  Mine's been busy again, but all is OK.  I'm here now to share my Little Miss Muffet DT card.  We have a new challenge for you today and it's a fun one!  The challenge theme is "it's a doodle".  We want to see some doodling on your creation!  I told you it would be fun!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Rose Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Unforgettable" 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Polka Dot Pals Daisy from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics and added some sparkle to the balloons with Stickles.  I also added Liquid Pearls to the daisy centers.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added a pretty doily behind the image panel.  The banner was cut with the Party Banner Metal Die from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Some lace, a seam binding bow, a little flower button and a few pearls from my stash finished my card.  Oh, and I doodled around the image panel, but I can't say I'm very good at it!

Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday and World Card Making Day!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  We're likely to have some stormy weather this weekend when the tropical storm moves ashore.  I'm hoping it won't be too bad by the time it reaches this far north.  To start the day, I am here to share a couple of cards for this week's Super Saturday at the Little Miss Muffet blog.  I'm afraid my post is a little late because Mr. Blogger decided to convert my scheduled post into a draft.  Anyway, we've got a few fun things for you today.  First, there is a freebie that is part of a new set of Graffiti Party images.  It's called Krew Writer and it's too cool!  There are more images in this group and more of the fun graffiti Barbara's been creating!  And, of course, they go perfectly with the awesome freebies and new stamps that were part of the Graffiti Party releases from Make it Crafty and Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Here is my first card using today's freebie, Krew Writer:

My card base and mats are SU Buckaroo Blue and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Aged & Confused Vagabond collection.  I merged three images to make my scene: the urban background image that was a freebie from Make it Crafty as part of the Freebie Challenge and Krew Writer and Graffiti Background Drip, new from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it all with my Copics.  I didn't add any embellishments so the image took center stage.

Here is a close-up of the colored images:

I have one more Graffiti Party inspiration project for you:

The cardstock is SU Blue Bayou and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Aged & Confused Sublime collection.  I created another scene with Urban Street Elements and Urban Gang Johnny and Courtney.  I added Graffiti Whateva from Little Miss Muffet Stamps to the wall and colored it similarly to how Barbara did in her tutorial here.  I finished it off with a bit of rustic bling.

Here is a close-up of the colored scene:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Graffiti Party blog an check out all the fab inspiration projects from both DTs!  The Graffiti Party Freebie Challenge is still running until October 20.  All the details are on the Graffiti Party blog.

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Another weekend is nearly upon us!  What happened to this week?  It went by in a blur for me.  I still have lots to do, but I am here now to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz. The theme this time is "animals" in honor of World Animal Day today.  We'd like to see an animal on your creation and don't forget, you must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are a dark slate color from Archivers. The patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dilly Dally 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Best of Friends Boy from Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps.  I was lucky enough to have won this stamp during one of the release blog hops.  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I finished my card with a bunch of yummy embellishments for a shabby chic sort of look: lace, Baker's Twine, a button, chipboard corners from MiC and a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the gorgeous animal-inspired cards from the rest of my DT sistahs!  We hope you will play along!  They are always lots of awesome prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!
