Twisted Tuesday Challenge #71 - Guest Designer

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Are you having a good week so far?  Hope so!  I've been busy already, but today I have something exciting to share with you!  After winning a challenge a few weeks back, I was invited to be a Guest Designer for today's new Twisted Tuesday Challenge.  Fun, right? You bet!  The theme is "live a clean, green life".  The challenge is to keep your project clean (no distressing or inked edges, etc.) and the twist is to use green.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Certainly Celery and the patterned papers are from my scrap bag.  I think the top one is GCD Studios Happiness and the bottom one is from Kaisercraft.  The fun image is Uptown Girls Madison Has A Margarita from Stamping Bella.  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Stickles to the trim on her dress and her hair ties and Glossy Accents to the glass.  I left off the sentiment until I decide on who will get this and for what occasion.  A simple punched border and ribbon and bow finished my clean, green card.

On My Mind

Good afternoon!  Happy Monday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  The weather has certainly changed here!  Yesterday was sunny and 75 and today is cloudy, rainy and 35.  I'll be glad when we are having mostly the former type or weather!  It won't be long, I'm sure.  At least we aren't getting snow like some of my friends and family!  Anyway, I'm popping in quickly to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing when I have time and I did find a little time for the craft room yesterday.

Here is my card:

My easel card base and mats are SU Lucky Limeade and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft Devonshire 6x6 pad.  The beautiful digi image is Come Softly by ching chou kuik for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed her on Hammermill Digital Color Cover Stock and colored her with my Copics.  I added a few accents with my White Paint Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A doily and a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my card.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

La Vie Est Belle

Hi again!  Didn't think you'd see me again so soon, did you?  I'm popping back in today to share some exciting news and a little card I made.  You all know how much I love my Make it Crafty images and love coloring them, right?  I try never to miss a challenge in the Make it Crafty FB group or the Make it Colourful Challenge each month.  Well, imagine my delight when the wonderful Zoe invited me to be a Guest Designer along with her fantastic FB team this month!  I am still pinching myself to be sure it's real!  I am truly honored and thrilled to have this opportunity!  Thank you to Zoe and the whole MiC DT for making me feel so welcome!

So here goes my first post as GD.  I've made a card using this month's $1 Digi, Frenchie Valerie.  This is a special offer for MiC FB Fans only, so if you love all things MiC like I do, you should head on over to the FB Fan group and join up.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Buckaroo Blue and the patterned papers are from the Prima En Francaise 6x6 pad I've been hoarding in my stash.  I printed Frenchie Valerie on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Glossy Accents to the cherry on the cone.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some red taffeta ribbon and a bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Penny Black and More Guest Designer

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you've had a good weekend so far!  It's been relatively quiet here with a bit of time for catching up on things.  You are probably surprised to see me on a Sunday!  I'm here with something really fun today!  Based upon entering this card, I was invited to be a Guest Designer for March for the Penny Black and More Challenge!  Of course, I said yes!  The theme for the March challenge is "so sweet".

Here is my "sweet" card:

My card base and mats are SU Strawberry Slush and the patterned papers are from the October Afternoon Woodland Park 8x8 pad.  The fun image is Let's Party from Penny Black.  I stamped it on Hammermill Digital Cover Stock and colored it with my Copics.    I added a bit of Yellow Stickles to the star and the candle.  I colored in a sky and some grass with my Copics, too.  The sentiment is computer-generated.

Sketch Saturday #299

Good  morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  We got an unexpected cold rain last night, but I think the weather is supposed to improve over the weekend.  Sure hope so!  I am here with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday challenge.  We are sponsored this week by A Random Fan.  Sherry is offering the winner 3 digis from her Etsy shop.

Here is the fabulous sketch from Debra:

Here is my take on the sketch:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 pad.  I did a bunch of stitching around the panels.  The cute image is from the Tin Can Chat set by SugarPea Designs. I won a GC from their shop when they first introduced their new DT and I picked this fun set as part of my prize.  I stamped the image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from the same set.  A K & Co. banner sticker and a crocheted flower and gem finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:
