Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday to you!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I am here early with my Super Saturday post for Little Miss Muffet.  We have a new freebie for you and some great stamps being spotlighted!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the wonderful inspiration from the DT with the featured images.  The spotlighted stamps are available at a reduced price for a limited time in the Little Miss Muffet shop.

The freebie this week is Snail Crawling.  I didn't have a chance to create with this one, but it's adorable!  The spotlighted stamps are Wilma Kay Hatter and Hatter Hat Stands.  I love all of the Hatters and there is so much you can do with the hat stands, too!

Here is the card I made with Wilma Kay Hatter:

My card base and mats are SU Rose Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Memorable" 6x6 pad.  I colored up Wilma Kay with my Copics and added a a bit of Mint Green Liquid Pearls to her hat trim.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Rose Red seam binding, a pearl accent and a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my card.

Eerie Scene

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday!  Hope you are having a great week so far!  I managed to sneak into my craft room again and do a little coloring.  Have you heard that the Make it Colourful Challenges have started back up?   I have always enjoyed playing along with these challenges!  They really stretch my coloring skills, limited such as they are, and I appreciate the chance to practice and the inspiration from the extraordinary DT!  Challenge #1 has both an easy and a hard component.  You can do either or both.  The easy challenge is to color an image with mainly black and orange and the hard challenge is to create a spooky scene.  I decided to combine them on one coloring project.

Here is what I came up with:

I used some patterned paper from the K & Co. Brenda Walton Halloween pad from last year.  For my scene, I merged two digis from Make it Crafty - Eerie Scene and Witchy Wanda.  I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it all with my Copics.  I did Wanda in black and orange for the easy challenge and created the spooky background scene for the hard challenge.  I added a bit of  metallic detail on her skirt and boots with my Black and Silver Letraset Metallic markers. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Beware Halloween Word Art set in Paulette's store here. Some Webster's Pages black velvet trim and a 3-D bat finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored scene:

Copic Colors:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E13
Hair: C5, C7, C9
Dress and boots: C1, C3, C5, C7, C9
Accessories and pumpkins (orange): YR15, YR16, YR18, YR21
Fence: W1, W3, W5, W7
Moon: Y11, Y15, Y32, Y35, Y38
Grass: G21, G94,G99, YG01, YG63
Sky: B000, B60, B91
Clouds: BV000, BV20, BV23, BV25, BV28

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Make it Colourful Challenge #1 (easy: orange and black; hard: spooky scene)
Sunday Sketch 'n' Stamp #172 (Marie's sketch)
Designed to Color Challenge #19 (anything goes)

I Believe

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope you had a nice weekend and your week is off to a great start!  We were pretty busy over the holiday weekend and I didn't have much time for the craft room, but I got back in there today for a bit to work on a few card projects.

Here is the one I just finished:

I made another Christmas card for my stash.  It's growing little by little!  My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Mistletoe Magic 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Letters to Santa from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  The same cute image is available along with two other images as card toppers in a set called Snow Fun from The Hobby House.  I need to get some of these toppers for when I am pressed for time (think December!) so I won't have to color!   I printed the digi on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added Shabby White Fran-tage and some pearl accents made with my Viva Decor Cream Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some beautiful lace from Wild Orchid Crafts, a triple-loop bow of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and a pretty button (from Lori A., thanks!) finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to get back on track with crafting and blogging this week, so see you soon!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
The Hobby House Challenge #4 (use topper or image from a Hobby House artist; I used Elisabeth Bell)
Tuesday Morning Sketches #214 (sketch)
The Cutie Pie Challenge #52 (cute Christmas in September)
Divas by Design (lovely lace)
Papertake Weekly (anything goes; optional Christmas)
