Thinking of You

Good Morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and a fun Valentine's Day if you celebrate that!   Now it's time for the weekend and hopefully a little extra crafting time!  I'm here a card I made for two of my DTs, Guylou's Inimitability and the Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  I rarely have the opportunity to combine these projects, but it worked out this week, so I went for it.   The theme for the Copic/ProMarker challenge is "thinking of you" - can be general or sympathy and Guylou's challenge is "three in a row, that's the way to go" - a BINGO challenge.

First, here are the details for the challenge at Guylou's Inimitability:

Kim is our hostess this week and she is challenging us to use the BINGO card below to select the elements for our project.  I chose button(s), free space, ribbon.

Challenge Deadline:
You have until 10:00 PM (EDT) on February 28th to link your project to the Inlinkz at the end of the challenge post.
How to participate:
You may enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your project will count for two entries.  If you don't have one of Guylou's digistamps, you can check the online store where several freebies are available.
Challenge Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Melon Mambo and the patterned papers are from the Pebbles Sunny Side collection.    My sweet image is Leah from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored here with my Copics.  I added a touch of Stickles to the pink flowers on her hat.  She was cut out with my Cameo and popped up on foam tape.  I stitched around the background papers and the image frame.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some ribbon, a flower button and a few heart gems finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit both the Guylou's Inimitability blog and the Copic/ProMarker challenge to check out the beautiful creations from both DTs for the respective challenges!    I would love to see your creations for either or both challenges!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sweet Sunday Sketch #177 (sketch)
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Tuesday Throwdown #134 (anything goes)

Celebrate Your Birthday

Hi again!  Happy Valentine's Day!  It's me again and I'm back with another quick post.  If you are looking for my Little Miss Muffet DT card, please scroll down one post.  I wanted to share a card I made for a few challenges I enjoy doing when I have time.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Lucky Limeade and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Hip Hooray collection.  My cute images are Bella Birthday and Bronte Birthday from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I merged them, then printed the merged image on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored them with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles for some extra sparkle.  The merged image was cut out with my Cameo.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was a recent freebie from Paulette.  A striped ribbon bow finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet - New Release

Hi there!  Happy Thursday!  As usual, it's early for me and I'm hopefully sleeping, but I'm here with my Little Miss Muffet DT post for the week.  It's time for a new release and you are going to absolutely love all the adorable new digis! There are five new ones, plus a few extras!  You can check them all out in the What's New section of the Little Miss Muffet store.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers and the layered chipboard hearts are from the K & Co. Kelly Panacci Valentine's collection.  The adorable image is Sassafras from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Red Stickles to the LOVE on the heart.  The image was cut out with my Cameo.  She is popped up over a background heart cut from red glitter paper using a cut file available in the Silhouette store (heart shaped doily).  The sentiment tickets are from Create With TLC.  A few red gems finished my card.

Friends Are Your Umbrella

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  It has been pouring down rain here for the last three days and it sure is gloomy, not to mention sopping!  It's hard to feel like doing anything when it is so dark all day!  However, I did manage to make a quick card to showcase one of the new sets Paulette has added to her Create With TLC store.  It's very appropriate for the weather we've been having, that's for sure!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from one of my favorite Basic Grey collections, Hello Luscious.  The main image is from the Friends Are Your Umbrella Digi set from Create With TLC.  You can find it Paulette's store here.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added metal accents to the umbrella with my Silver Letraset Metallic marker and Yellow Stickles to the flower centers. The image was cut out with my Cameo.  The sentiment is from the same digi set.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to have some time to visit your blogs tomorrow morning before I head out.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Basic Grey Challenges #87 (your favorite; I used my favorite Hello, Luscious paper)
Sunday Sketch and Stamp #143 (Sam's sketch)

Hugs and Kisses

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  It's been a crazy week, so I'm glad the weekend is nearly here.  I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do when I can.  I'll keep it brief since I need to run out the door pretty soon.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is Sweet Melissa from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I was experimenting with a different hair color I saw mentioned on someone's blog.  Not sure about it, but it was a nice change.  The combo was E59, E19, E08, YR24 and Y26 in case you are interested.  I added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to her pendant and that was it for the image.  I cut her out with my Cameo.  There are a bunch of other Cameo cuts here - the heart square frame and the heart circle frame were freebies from one of my Silhouette groups on-line and the swirly corner were from a free cut file that was generously shared at Bird's Cards. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few pink gems and a couple of Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

That's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by and I'll be by to visit as soon as I get back this afternoon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Basic Grey Challenges #86 (love is in the air)
Polka Doodles #6 (Valentine love)
Stampin' With The Dragon (love is in the air)
Papertake Weekly (anything goes)
