Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  I'm sure I will be scrambling around trying to get things in order for the holidays!  Time is running short, that's for sure!  Before I get going today, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "gifts/giving".  Perfect for this time of year!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Red Hot and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Bright Christmas 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Stacking Gift Boxes from Birdie Brown.  You can find it in Torico's Etsy shop here.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from Paulette's recent Winter Club.  I punched a snowflake border from white glitter paper.  A dimensional ornament sticker and three gems from my stash finished my card.

Serene Christmas

Hi there!  It's me again!  Can you believe it?  I have another post for today!  If you are looking for my Little Miss Muffet DT post, please click here or scroll down one post.  I am really trying to get a few more Christmas cards done.  It's getting down to the wire and I don't know how I'm going to get everything finished!  I don't know why I do this to myself every year - lol!

Here is my latest Christmas creation:

It's very clean and simple, at least for me.  My card base is GKD Heavy Base Weight White. I next added a panel of silver mirror paper.  It so shiny in real life, but very hard to capture in a photo.  I mitered the corners to look like a frame.  The main image is Winter Trees.  You can find this Gingerloft digi image in the Stitchy Bear Digistamp shop.  The frame is Christmas Framed from Create With TLC.  It was part of Paulette's recent Winter Club.  I merged the two images and printed the merged image onto XPress-It Card.  I added light green highlights to the main trees with my Copics, then added tons of Star Dust Stickles to make them sparkle!  I added New Fallen Snow Glitter to the whole ground area. Some shimmery silver cord and three silver gems from my stash finished my card.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketches #175 (sketch)
One Stitch At A Time #142 (anything goes, used a store image)
Forever Friends #50 (fortnightly challenge - glitter and sparkle)
Tuesday Throwdown #126 (white Christmas)
Card Makin' Mamas (silver and/or gold)

Thanks for dropping by again!  I truly appreciate you visits, especially when I haven't had as much time lately to reciprocate.

Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!

Little Miss Muffet - New Release

Hi there!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  It's barely Thursday for me and I hope I am still sleeping when you see this, but it's time for my DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We are having a new release this week and it's a biggie!  There are 5 new rubber stamps, four of which are new Honeycloud Teens from Paula of Pollycraft!  They are so cute! There is also a new digi release called Hanging Dresses.  This is an amazing digistamp collection!  Wait until you see these gorgeous new images!  You can mix and match the dresses, hangers and accessories!  The are so wonderfully-detailed!  I truly believe there is nothing quite like this collection out there anywhere!  Beautiful girly-girl stamps for every  occasion!  Check out the entire new release in the What's New section of the Little Miss Muffet store.

Here is my card:

I used one of the new Pollycraft images to cook up my non-traditional holiday card.  My card base and mats are GKD Dark Brown and the patterned papers are from the American Crafts Merrymint 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Celeste Amberglow Cooking Up Some Love.  I used the digi version of the new rubber stamp. I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Liquid Applique to all the bits of batter and heated it until it was puffy.  I added Red Stickles to all the little hearts on the image.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was one of the many freebies Paulette has shared recently.  I thought it was perfect for the image!  Some red pom pom trim and a few red heart gems finished my card.

Cozy Christmas

Hello!  Happy Wednesday!  Can you believe I've got another post already?  That's two so far this week!  I am happy to be finding a little time to finish up card projects on my desk!  Definitely not an easy feat these days!  Anyway, I'm here with a quick post to share another Christmas card I made to add to my stash.  It is for a bunch of challenges that all had a similar theme - snow or snowmen.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Red Hot and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Bright Christmas 6x6 pad.  My cute image is Snowman Scene from QKR Stampede.  I won it when they were sponsoring a blog hop I participated in recently.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added Liquid Pearls to the falling snow, Crystal Snow to the pom pom and brim of his hat, Red and Aqua Stickles to the ornaments on the tree and Gun Metal Stickles to his buttons.  The sentiment is from Bird's Cards. It was a freebie I picked up last year.  I added red gingham ribbon from my stash, some aqua and white fabric trim (Webster's Pages) and a few snowflakes punched from glitter paper to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of the snowman scene:

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be back early tomorrow with my Little Miss Muffet DT card.

Star of Bethlehem

Hi there!  It's me again finally!  Sorry that my posts have been very sporadic, but I am not having much luck squeezing in crafting time with everything else going on in my world right now.   However, I did manage to finish I card I had in the works, so I'm popping by to post it here.  I created another Christmas card for my stash and did it in non-traditional colors, which was the theme of quite a few challenges recently.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Not Quite Navy and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Snowfall 6x6 pad.  My pretty Christmas image is from Elisabeth Bell.  It is Belles 'n Whistles Star of Bethlehem.   I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it in very non-traditional Christmas colors with my Copics.  I added Gold and Mystic Green Stickles here and there for some added sparkle.  I also added White Opal Liquid Pearls to the holly berries and the pom poms on the little one's slippers.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the recent Winter Club that Paulette shared.  A triple-loop Not Quite Navy taffeta bow and a star punched from gold/bronze glitter paper finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to find a block of time tomorrow to visit your blogs!  Sorry for not visiting you more regularly lately.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
