Autumn Angel

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend and your new week is off to a terrific start!  I have a very busy day ahead of me, but before I head off for that, I'm here to post a card I made for a couple of challenges.  It is for Love To Create #38 (pumpkins, pumpkins), Allsorts #177 (Autumn colors), Paper Crafting Journey (add some bling).  I had planned to enter my card in the Tuesday Morning Sketches #168 too, but I didn't finish it before the deadline. I'm still linking it because I did use the sketch.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Chocolate Chip and the patterned papers are from Imaginisce, called So Grateful.  My adorable image is Autumn Angel from Whimsy And Stars Studio.  You can find her in Mabelle's Etsy shop here.  I was so lucky to have won her during a contest on Mabelle's blog.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some bling to the image with Orange, Crystal and Vintage Photo Stickles.  The top sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I added a bunch of gems from my stash to the sentiment panel.  Some Baker's Twine and a Jolee's leaf sticker finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll pop by your blogs a little later when I get home.

Have a wonderful day!

Be Yourself

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  I hope you've had a good weekend so far and that you enjoy what's left of it!  It's been a gorgeous fall weekend here!  Before I head out for the day, I wanted to share a card I made for a couple of challenges.  It is for Saturated Canary #28 (color inspiration), Copic Challenge #54 on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom site (anything goes with a touch of red), and The Squirrel and The Fox #29 (use a ribbon).

Here is the color inspiration for the SC challenge:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Black Onyx and the papers are a combination of My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Rosy and Basic Grey Infuse.  My fun image is Starla from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's shop here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Red Stickles to the tiny stars and the dots on her leggings.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I think it was a freebie awhile back.  I added two chipboard fancy corners from Make it Crafty.  A triple-loop satin bow, a Webster's Pages Heart and three burgundy Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Starla:

Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi again!  Usually I wouldn't have back-to-back posts like this, but since I messed up my earlier post, I'm back right away with my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "Fall foliage or Halloween colors".  You can create anything you'd like along those lines as long as you have coloring with Copics or any other brand of alcohol marker.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned papers are from the K & Co. Brenda Walton Halloween 12x12 pad.  I merged two digistamps from Make it Crafty - Eerie Scene and Witchy Wanda.  I printed the merged image on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I masked the image and sponged an eerie sky with SU Vintage Violet.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Beware Halloween set in Paulette's store here.  A strip of DP punched with my Fiskars Grass Punch finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along with our Fall/Halloween challenge!  Our October challenges are being generously sponsored by Make it Crafty.  You'll definitely want to visit the MiC store and see all the fun, crafty products they have to offer!  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenge will win a copy of Zoe's awesome E-Book, Colouring Techniques for Markers.  Who wouldn't want to win this fabulous prize?  There are also lots of monthly site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:
Seems a Little Sketchy #24 (sketch)
Fab 'n Funky Challenge #143 (black, orange and choice)

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Halloween Colors

Good morning!  Happy (early) Thursday! Hope you've had a good week so far.  I know.  I did a disappearing act again.  I have a lot going on (long story) and really no spare time to craft at all.   But of course, I have my DT card for the new challenge at Little Miss Muffet!  Didn't you love the adorable new Halloween images released last week?  Well, they are perfect for the new challenge which is "Halloween colors"!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the fun patterned papers are from the K & Co. Brenda Walton 12x12 pad.  I merged two of the cute images from last week's release - Luna Bitterfrost Vampires Rock and Bandit Boy Tom at Halloween.  I printed the merged image on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored in Halloween colors with my Copics. The sentiment is a recent freebie from Paulette at Create With TLC.  The punched border was done with a Fiskars Grass punch (turned upside down).  Some ribbon, a dimensional birdcage sticker (Jolee's) and a few Recollections dimensional glitter dots finished my card.
