Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #81

Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great day!  I'm dropping in to share the card I made for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #81.  This week's theme was to create a monochromatic card.  My card is also for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge (CPC050611) on The Outlawz site, where the theme was coloring ethnic skin tones.

Here is my card for both challenges:

I started with a card base of Papertrey Aqua Mist and layered with patterned paper from the Prima Fairy Flora 6x6 pad.  My image is Fairy Tabia from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored her with Copics and added a few highlights with Star Dust Stickles.  The sentiment was a freebie from Create With TLC - thanks, Paulette!  I added a triple loop bow made from seam binding I dyed with reinkers to finish my card.

Card Patterns Sketch #113 and Joan's Gardens Card Challenge #17

I'm back with a quick post to share the card I made for last week's Card Patterns Sketch #113 and for Card Challenge #17 on Joan's Gardens' blog.    The requirements for Joan's challenge this week were to use blue and green, use an image of a lady, add a large embellishment and attach a bow.

Here is my card for both challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Soft Sky and layered with some beautiful blue and green patterned paper from the Webster's Pages Spring Market/Yacht Club/Country Estate Petite Papers pack.  The vintage lady image was a free download from The Graphics Fairy and it was colored with Copics.  I cut it out with a Spellbinders Classic Circle die and sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink while it was still in the die before layering on a Spellbinders Scallop Circle diecut.  I cut a doily from my stash in half and sponged it lightly with Antique Linen.  I added a banner and bow of soft blue suede ribbon.  Some ivory pearls and a large charm recycled from one of my Mom's old bracelets finished my card.

Joan's Gardens Weekly Card Challenge #16

I'm back with a quick post to share the card I made for this week's card challenge on Joan's Gardens' blog.  The requirements this week were the following: use lime green and pink, use a lattice, use leaves to create a vine and use butterflies.

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of Kiwi Kiss and layered with patterned paper from the Basic Grey Sweet Luscious collection.  I punched the trellis from Whisper White with an EK Success punch. I stamped flowers and leaves from these Heartfelt Creations sets: HCPC 3305 Posy Patch Clusters, HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers and HCPC 3314 Elegant Single Leaves with Memento Rich Cocoa directly onto solid DPs from the same Basic Grey Collection.  I cut out the flowers and leaves with the corresponding Heartfelt Creations dies (HCD 701 Posy Patch Dies and HCD 704 Perfect Petals Dies).  I shaped the flowers and leaves a little then layered them over the the trellis.  I popped up another flower on each base flower with Pop-Dots.  The butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart Large Monarch Butterfly punch.  I added yellow gems to the flower centers and butterfly bodies to finish my card.

Wednesdays At Heartfelt Creations

Good morning!  It's Wednesday and time for more card samples from the Heartfelt Creations Design Team!  I am always blown away by my teammates' creations and this week is no exception!  You'll definitely want to visit the Heartfelt Creations blog and check out all the wonderful eye candy!

Here is one of my projects that was shared today:

I started with a 5 1/2" square card base of SU Marina Mist and layered with patterned paper from Webster's Pages Spring Market/Yacht Club/Country Estate Petite Papers pack. I cut a large scalloped circle from Marina Mist with a Spellbinders Large Classic Circle die.  The main image from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3383 Cardinal Posy Branch was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Cryogen White Iridescent.  I also stamped the corresponding single cardinal from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3353 Cardinal Family set onto Cryogen White.  Finally, I stamped several of the corresponding flowers from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers.  All of the images were colored with Copic markers.  I cut out the main image with scissors and a craft knife and adhered it to a main image panel of Cryogen White that was cut with a Spellbinders Classic Circle die. The single cardinal was cut out with Heartfelt Creations HCD 706 Cardinal Family Die and popped up with foam tape.  All the flowers were cut out with Heartfelt Creations HCD 701 Posy Patch Dies and layered onto the main image with Pop-Dots.  I finished my card with adhesive pearls in the flower centers and some red gingham ribbon.

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #80

Good afternoon!  I can't believe it's already Tuesday!  I hope you had a great weekend!  I did, but it sure was busy! I finally got here to share the card I made for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #80.  This week's challenge theme was "pink and girlie"!  How fun, and so perfect with Mother's Day coming up!

I decided to combine it with this week's Greeting Card Challenge (GC050211) on The Outlawz site which was to make a Mother's Day card or other card for a girl. 

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Kiwi Kiss and layered with patterned paper from the Basic Grey Olivia 6x6 pad.  My darling image is Nelly, from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored her with Copics and highlighted a little with Spica pens.  The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers Happy Everything kit.  A double loop bow made with my Bow Easy finished my simple card.
