Summer Fairy

Hi there!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  Only one more day until the weekend!  I'm going to be out this afternoon so I popped in to share the card I made for the July/August Challenge on Elisabeth Bell's World, but I just realized I missed the deadline by a day.  Oh well.  The theme this time was "summer scene".  My card is also for Tuesday Morning Sketches #160 (pick from 4 sketches) and Wild Orchid Challenge #57 (summer flowers).

I used Papertrey Aqua Mist cardstock for my base and mats and layered with patterned papers from the Webster's Pages Sunday Picnic/Everyday Poetry Petite Papers.  My sweet summer fairy is Fleur from Elisabeth Bell for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I stamped her on Copic X-Press It and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Diamond Stickles to her waistband, wings and the flower center.  I added a Wild Orchid Crafts Mixed Pink Tone Rose and two Cream Aster Daisies.  A couple of pink pearls finished my card.

    I always love when you use the soft aquas and pinks and what a gorgeous EB image. Soft and beautiful....

    Love the take on the sketch, Carla! The card is beautiful; love the coloring, the soft colors and the bit of sparkle you added! Of course, I always love die cuts and flowers! ;^)

    Such a wonderful sketch, bummer about missing the deadline though, I've done that a couple times. As always, your coloring is so amazing. I swear I learn a little trick or two every time I see one of your cards. Very beautiful overall.
