Little Miss Muffet - New Release

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  I am having trouble sitting for very long since my surgery, so I am not getting to create and visit as much as I'd like.  I hope that I will do better every day.  Meanwhile, I am here with my DT post for Little Miss Muffet.  I had my card done ahead of time, just in case, and it's a good thing.  We have a new release for you today!  Lots of fun new Polka Dot Pals have hit the shop and are they ever cute!  Check out the new releases section of the Little Miss Muffet store to see them all!

Before I show you my card,  I wanted to let you know about a big sale going on in the Little Miss Muffet store.  Barbara is retiring over 100 rubber and digi stamps at a huge discount, so you'd better head over and grab your favorites before they are gone for good!

Now here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Vintage Christmas 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Polka Dot Pals Chrissie.  I added the face using Ready Face #2.  What a brilliant idea Barbara had to provide some cute faces that worked with these stamps!  I, for one, am a terrible artist so I would never have considered botching up one of the darling Polka Dot Pals with my own face! Anyway, I colored up the image with my Copics and added lots of Stickles and glitter to sparkle it up.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A triple-loop seam binding bow, a pearl button and Liquid Pearl accents around the scalloped frame finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT and our special  Guest Designers, Nic and Debbie!    Don't forget, you have until November 5 at 11:55 PM CST to enter our Spooktacular Challenge.  We hope you'll play along!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sketch 'n Stash #124 (sketch)
Paper Crafting Journey (anything goes)
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner Challenge (anything goes)
The Cutie Pies Challenge #56 (embellishment BINGO;  I used top row: bow, pearls, glitter)

BOO!

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  My surgery went fine on Friday and I've been resting since, not doing too much.  I feel a little better today, so I couldn't resist having a little play.   I'm not supposed to sit for long periods of time, though, so I'll make this brief, then take another rest.  I made a quick card for a few challenges I enjoy doing when I can.

Here is my final Halloween card of the year:

My card base and mats are SU Eggplant Envy and the patterned papers are from a Recollections Halloween 12x12 pad from last year.  The adorable image is Little Witch on the Moon, a new addition to the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection. I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Yellow Stickles to the stars and Crystal Stickles to the little ghosts.  The sentiment was made with Scrabble tiles from My Mind's Eye.  I forget which collection they came from.  Some lime ribbon and a fun little jack-o-lantern finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I've been trying to visit in short spurts so I hope to by soon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  My weekend won't be that fun, I'm sure.  I am having back surgery today, so this post is pre-scheduled, as will all of my posts be until I am able to get up and around again.  I hope it won't be long before I can at least get back on-line, but it may take me a bit to catch up and come by to visit.  Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  As always for the last challenge of the month, the theme is "anything goes" with the option to make it a Christmas creation.  You can do whatever you'd like, but please remember your project must have coloring with Alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Vintage Christmas 6x6 pad.  The precious image is Christmas Angel Daniella by Elisabeth Bell for Belles 'n Whistles.  I got her from Dies to Die For when I received a gift voucher from winning a challenge they sponsored.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  In case you are interested, this image is also available as a pre-colored card topper in a set called Christmas Angels from The Hobby House.  I added a bit of Shabby White Frantage around the image and stitched around all the panels of my sketch.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A double-loop satin bow, a pearl stick pin and a bunch of beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my Christmas card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Here is the color inspiration photo that our teammie, Tress, picked:

It's a perfect color palette for fall or Halloween, don't you think?

Here is my card:

I went the Halloween route and used some fun Halloween patterned paper from K & Co. for the background.  I cut a big spider web with a cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables, then cut it in pieces to add around the border of my card.  The adorable image is Pirate Kai by Mo Manning for Penny Black.  I stamped him on MiC Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a bit of Yellow Stickles to the jack-o-lantern face.  A few plastic spiders in the webs and around the image finished my card.

Show It Off Sunday - Create With TLC

Good afternoon!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you are enjoying your weekend!  I am away for a couple of days so I've pre-scheduled this post.  I've got something very different to share with you today.  You may recall that Paulette has started a new feature on the Create With TLC blog called Show It Off Sunday.  It's a linky party that starts every Sunday and runs until the following Saturday.  Anyone can link up a crafty project there, with the only requirements being that the creation be handmade by you and it must be posted on your blog.  It has been a big hit and there have been lots of gorgeous creations posted.

I have a project to link up today.  It is not a card this time.  I made this pretty set of jewelry to share with you.  You may not know it, but before I got hooked on card-making (thanks, JoAnn!), I was totally into beading and other jewelry-making.  I was even selling my pieces for awhile where I used to live.  When I got into paper-crafting several years ago, I pretty much dropped this craft.  Just recently, I started making a couple of things and this set is one of my projects.

Sorry for the bad photo.  I'm not used to photographing jewelry.  I made the bracelet from a kit I found at Too Cute Beads.  I liked it so much that I bought similar components from a few other on-line shops and I designed a coordinating necklace and earrings.  It's all made from Swarovski Crystal components and sterling silver findings.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Fits perfectly, don't you think?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed seeing something a little different from me today!  Scroll down one post if you'd like to pick up a beautiful freebie that Paulette from Create With TLC shared to celebrate my 400-follower milestone.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you when I get back!

A Milestone Celebration - 400 Followers

Hi there!  It's me again!  I'm back with a second post today and this one is very special!  I have reached 400 followers on my blog!  My 400th follower, Larisa, introduced herself to me yesterday!  I'd like to welcome my newest followers and say a huge thank you to those that have been around awhile! You all give me so much inspiration and encouragement!  It makes it fun to share here and I always look forward to your visits!  I am planning to put together a nice blog candy to celebrate reaching over 400 followers and my upcoming 2-year blogaversary, so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime, to help me celebrate right now, Paulette, from Create With TLC, has generously offered a very special freebie for me to share with all of you!    To grab your freebie, simply click on the image, then right click and "save picture as" to your own computer.

Here is the gorgeous freebie from Paulette:
Here is a card I made using it:

My card base and mats are SU Bordering Blue and the patterned paper is from the Prima Fairy Belle 6x6 pad.  I printed the image and then cut it out with my Cameo. I colored it with my Copics, then added some Star Dust Stickles to the baby fairy's wings and the dragonfly and Crystal Stickles to the stars in the sky.  The sentiment is also from Create With TLC.  The two beautiful filigree corners were a gift in my birthday card from my friend, Olga.  Thanks, Olga!  I've been hoarding them until now!  A few mauve pearls from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by and for helping me reach this milestone!  Be sure to go over to the Create With TLC blog and thank Paulette for this and all the other wonderful freebies she shares with us every day! Don't forget to sign up to follow Paulette, too!  A big thank you from me, Paulette, for helping celebrate my 400-follower milestone!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you soon!

Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I haven't really started my day yet since it's very early, but it's going to be a busy day today before I leave tomorrow.  I'm popping in now with my DT card for this week's Super Saturday post on the Little Miss Muffet blog.  As always, we have a freebie, a spotlighted stamp at a reduced price and lots of inspiration from the Little Misses with both.

The freebie today is Monster Scy.  He is so cute!  Unfortunately, I didn't have time to use him this week, but I did make a card with the spotlighted stamp, Sonny Honeycloud Mistletoe.

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Festivus 6x6 pad.  I created a scene with Sonny Honeycloud Mistletoe from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and several background elements from the Winter Objects and Festive Elements sets by Make it Crafty. I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored the whole scene with my Copics.  I added some ice glitter to the snow and her fur trim and Glossy Accents to the holly berries.  I colored in a cloudy twilight sky with my Copics.    I finished my card with a red chevron-striped bow.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:
