Celebrate Every Day

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  Mine has been busy so far, but the weather is gorgeous and that makes a big difference!  I'm on my way out so this will have to be brief, but I'm here to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing.  I haven't had much time for extra projects so I was happy to get this one done.

Here it is:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park This & That 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Pricilla Pie from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added "pearls" to her hair and jewelry with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  I added a bit of Yellow Stickles the center of the flower in her hair and the ring on her finger.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I used a Martha Stewart Edger Punch for the horizontal panel.  A turquoise crocheted flower and a few Recollections roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Copic Colors:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Turquoise: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49
Deep Rose: R81, R83, R85, R89
Gold/Yellow: Y21, YR23, E15

613 Avenue Create - Guest Designer

Good morning!  Happy (very early) Sunday!  Hope you've had a nice weekend so far!  The storms that were supposed to hit us hard never materialized.  We had a little rain and thunder, but that's about it.  All in all, it's been a good weekend!  I am popping in now to share my GDT card for Challenge #17 at 613 Avenue Create.  The theme is "anything goes", with the option to use the photo below as inspiration:

Shelly's Images is a sponsor this week and I was generously provided with a beautiful image to use for my card.  Here is what I came up with, using the bright colors and May theme from the photo for inspiration:

My card  base and mats are SU Rose Red and my patterned papers are from the Little Yellow Bicycle Hello Spring 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is May Flowers from Shelly's Images.  I printed it on XPress-It cardstock and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Stickles and Liquid Pearls to the flowers in the umbrella.  I cut out the image with my Cameo and popped it up over a background where I partially embossed the top with the SU Cloudy Day Embossing folder then colored in a sky and some grass with Copics.   The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  White Opal Liquid Pearls around the Spellbinders Lacey Circles frame finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the 613 Avenue Create Challenge Blog and check out the gorgeous creations from Team A!  I know they would be thrilled if you played along!

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and there is fun in store for you for the weekend!  It seems that at least half the weekend is going to be raining here, so we'll have to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.  Before I get on with my day, I am popping in to share my DT card for the Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  As always for the last Friday of the month, we have our ever-popular theme of  "anything goes" with an optional twist of making a Christmas card.    This leaves it all pretty wide open, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I decided against a Christmas card this month, but hope to get back to them next month.  I went with a springy pink and green combo.  It looks more red in the photos, but it's definitely pink in real life.  My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park This & That 6x6 pad and the October Afternoon Woodland Park 8x8 pad.  The sweet image is Summer Day Emma, a digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I can't seem to stop adding grass and clouds to my outdoor images!  I added some Stickles to the flower centers, the butterflies and the tiny flowers I put in the grass.  I added "pearls" around the scalloped frame with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from the Flowers in Bloom Sentiments set by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.  I didn't add any additional embellishments this time.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along!  It's your last chance to get in on the wonderful prize this month!  Our challenges are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps and one randomly-selected participant in the April challenges will win 5 digis of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps store!  As always, there are also lots of wonderful site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Simon Says Stamp Challenge (anything goes)
Sunday Sketch & Stamp #153 (sketch)
Whimsy Stamps Challenge #58 (pretty in pink)
Stamping With The Dragon (Spring has sprung)

Little Miss Muffet - New Release

Good morning!  Happy early Thursday!  Have you had a good week?  As expected, we had quite a bit of rain and stormy weather yesterday, but hopefully it's going to clear up in time for the weekend!  One can hope, right?  Given that it's Thursday, I'm here to post my DT card for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We have a new release this week!  Wait until you see all the adorable stamps this time!  You are going to love them all, as I do!  You can see them all in the What's New section of the Little Miss Muffet store.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Tangerine Tango and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Tangerine 6x6 pad.  Now don't faint - I've used orange!  I'm not an orange person and I rarely use it, but I thought it fit well with the papers and theme.  The adorable image is Nice Weather (for Ducks) from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  It's new in the Pollycraft Swings 'n Slides line.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added in the cloudy sky and grass around the puddle.  I added Glossy Accents to the water in the puddle and the little drops on her pockets.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A bunch of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers (daisy, cherry blossoms and sweetheart blossoms) and a bow and button finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the truly adorable creations from the rest of the DT and our April Guest Designer, Petra!  You still have until next Tuesday, April 30, to enter our "food, glorius food" challenge.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet Stamp or any Pollycraft stamp, you may enter with anything goes as the theme and you may enter as many times as you'd like.  If not, please follow the theme and enter only once.

It's All About The Cake

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope you're having a good week so far!  Today is going to be our last day of sun for a few days, but I really can't complain, since the last few days have been so nice!  I'm popping in quickly to share a card I made for a few challenges I enjoy doing when I can.  One of them is ending soon, so I didn't want to miss the deadline.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Marina Mist and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Hootenanny 6x6 pad.  My fun image is Swoopy Melva from MayzyArt.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles here and there for added sparkle, Liquid Pearls to the pearls in her hair and Glossy Accents to the cherry on the cake.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  With all those layers, I kept the extra embellishments to a minimum, adding only three lime green gems in the top corner.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I've got to head out shortly, but I will be back later this afternoon and will visit your blogs then.

Love You, Miss You

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a great start, as well!  The weather was nice here all weekend and we were very busy, but I did manage to get in my craft room just briefly to finish up a card I was working on.  It is for the current Guest Design Team Call for The Digi Bell's DT blog.  I had so much fun when I was a GDT before that I had to put my name in the hat again!  To answer the call this time, you had to CASE or LIFT a design from one of The Digi Bells that was posted on the blog.  It certainly was hard to choose, since every day the super-talented DT posts gorgeous creations there!  After much deliberation, I chose this card by Digi Bell, Julie Price, to CASE:

Here is my card based on Julie's gorgeous creation:

My card base and mats are SU Pear Pizzazz and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft English Rose 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Love You, Miss You from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of White Opal Liquid Pearls to her buttons and the snap on her little purse.  I framed her with a pretty doily that I cut with my Cameo using a cut file from Monica's Creative Room.  I added some white lace and a bow of May Arts wide silk ribbon.  I painted a metal corner piece from Wild Orchid Crafts and spritzed it with Pearl Shimmer Mist.  The banner was cut out with the Layered Party Banner from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I added lots of  Wild Orchid Crafts roses and a spray of little pearls.  A tiny heart charm (from June N. -thanks so much!) finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to be around to visit your blogs this afternoon as soon as I get home.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Elphine House #42 (Pearls and Lace)
Oozak Challenge #13 (lace, pearls and ribbon)
Crafty Sentiments Designs #94 (lace and pearls)
Card Makin' Mamas (ribbon)
Love to Create Challenge #62 (BINGO; I chose the first column - lace, flowers, doily)

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you're ready for a fun weekend!  The weather sure has been a mixed bag this week, but at least it's not snowing - lol!  I'm here, as usual on Fridays, to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  This week's theme is "food/cooking".  You can interpret this as you wish, but you must have coloring with alcohol markers on your project.  Any brand is fine.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Rosy 6x6 pad.  The fun image is a digi called Chef  from Kenny K. Downloads.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I cut out the image and black mat with my Cameo and popped it up on foam tape over a frame of Spellbinders Lacey and Classic Circle dies.  I also used a SU border punch for the horizontal panel. The sentiment is from Sharon at A Piece of Heart.  She generously shared it as a freebie last summer.   A diecut dimensional sticker (pot holders) and a couple of black gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the yummy creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will be inspired to play along with us!  This month's challenges are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.  One randomly-selected participant in our April challenges will win 5 digistamps of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps store!  How good is that?  There are also lots of fabulous monthly site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Find Your Inner Turtle

Hi there!  It's me again!  It's my second post today so if you are looking for my Little Miss Muffet DT card, please scroll down one post.  I'm back to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing when I have time.  It is for the Saturated Canary Challenge #41 (anything goes), Sketch Saturday #254 (sketch) and Digital Tuesday Challenge #206 (Springtime).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are from my stash.  The paper in my file was not labeled, but I think it was some Bazzill cardstock I picked up at Archiver's.  The patterned papers are again from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh 6x6 pad (can you tell I like this one?).  My adorable image is Turtle Lurv from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's digi shop here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I think I may have used every marker I have for this one - lol!  I added in the ground, grass, clouds and sky with my Copics as I have been recently.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  That's it!  No embellishments this time, just the sketch and scene, which is rare for me, but fun.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Oh, and here is SS-254:

Thanks for stopping by again!  I always appreciate your visits!
Have a great evening and I'll be back tomorrow with my Copic/ProMarker Challenge DT card.

Joy Is Yours

Hi again!  This is my second post today, so if you are looking for my GD card for 613 Avenue Create, please scroll down one post.  Rarely do I have the chance to post even once on Sundays, let alone twice, but I had a card almost done and managed to finish it, so I came back to share it with you.

Here it is:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two Mini Deck.  The adorable image is Carrie Princess-Free Wheeling by Elisabeth Bell for Elphine House Stamps.  I was lucky to have won her a couple of challenges ago.  I stamped her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added in the sky and clouds and grass again.  I can never get too much practice with these scenery details.   The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I punched the borders of the center panel with my Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Edge Punch.  I also punched and shaped a few leaves for the roses with an MS punch.  The two pretty roses are from Jacque's Sunday Sweet Stuff that I won awhile back.  A bow of green gingham ribbon finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you're having a nice weekend so far!  We might get some rain this morning, but yesterday was a delightful Spring day with warm temperatures and bright sunshine! Love it!  I'm popping in to share this week's Guest Designer card for the 613 Avenue Create challenge blog. Sorry for being a little late with my post. It wasn't Blogger's fault this time. I forgot to pre-schedule my post, so it was sitting in my drafts.  The theme for this week's challenge is "anything goes" with an optional sketch to follow.  The sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and I was generously provided with a cute digi for making my card.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take:

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and the weekend holds fun plans for you!  After all the hot and sunny days, we got a few strong storms last night.  Luckily, they were not as bad as predicted.  Things have cooled down some now and I'm hoping when I go out, the pollen will have been washed away with the rain.

I'm here, as always on  Fridays, with my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Out theme this week is "winged things".  You can interpret that as you wish, but your image must be colored with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are a purple from my stash and the patterned papers are from the Memory Box Viola 6x6 pack.  The beautiful fairy is Fairy Tabia from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Aqua Stickles to the stars on her dress and headband, Purple Stickles to her shoes and Glossy Accents to the bubbles.  I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on Spellbinders Lacy Circles and Classic Circles diecuts.  A triple-loop bow of green seam binding and three Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT!  Sadly, our friend and teammie, Linda Payne, has had to step down from the DT for now, but we are happy to have Jen Leeflang join our group starting with this challenge.  We hope you will inspired to play along this week!  This month's challenges are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.  One randomly-selected participant in our April challenges will win 5 digistamps of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps Store.  There are also lots of site-wide monthly prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!
